I've been putting this chapter off due to the GOD FORESAKEN PHONE GUY, but I know that some people want to see what's going to happen so-
hahaha time to lose my sanity-
------------------------------------------------------------
Michael jumped as he was forced out of his flashback, it's just the phone ringing, he thought, trying to calm his rapid breaths. He decided to ignore the phone, after all, who would be calling the security office at 12:00am in the morning? However, that didn't work. The phone picked up and a guy started talking. What the hell? What kind of phone answers itself? He thought, eventually paying the question no attention. This was a haunted restaurant, of course stuff like that would happen.
Clearly something, or someone, wanted Michael to hear this phone call, and he was not going to try and stop them anytime soon.
"Uh... hello? Hello, hello! Uhhh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you, I'm finishing up my last week now as a matter of fact!"
Michael groaned as he realized what this was. This was a type of tutorial. A. TUTORIAL. Michael knew how to do this; he had finished his previous two jobs just fine! Well... maybe less then 'just fine' but he had still completed his shifts! Whatever. He would still listen anyways. He started to check the cameras as he listened to the person on the phone talk. He instantly noticed that Bonnie and Chica had started to move, making some notes in his book about those two becoming active on the first night, and how Bonnie was the most aggressive, appearing at Mike's door two times before Chica had even showed up once.
"So.. I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you that there's nothing to worry about, uh- you'll do fine. So, let's just focus on getting you through your first week, okay? Uh- let's see. First there's an introductory greeting from the company I'm supposed to read. Kind of a legal thing, you know? Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person, upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within ninety days, or as soon as the premises has been thoroughly cleaned and bleached and the carpets have been replaced, blah, blah, blah. Now that might sound bad, I know, but there is really nothing to worry about! Uh- the animatronic characters here do tend to get a bit.. quirky.. at night, but do I blame them? No. If I were forced to sing those same, stupid songs for twenty years, and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too."
How long is he going to talk? Of course, that disclaimer sounds bad! And I am pretty sure animatronics cannot take baths... Michael thought while he idly listened to the "phone guy," as he had dubbed the person on the phone, as he waited for Chica and Bonnie to leave the doors.
"So, remember, these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children, and we need to show them a little respect, right? Okay. So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh... Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?"
Mike winced as The Bite of '87 was mentioned, but continued listening once he opened the doors after making sure the animatronics had left.
"Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll pr- they'll most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to... forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort... and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh."
"Yep, that's how springlock suits work." Michael muttered to himself, continuing to check the cameras, the power, the time, and close the door when he needed to.
"Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night."
"Already doing all of that, but goodnight I guess." Michael said as the phone hung up, assuming that was the end of the pre-recorded message. He decided to put a note on the logbook when he noticed something...
Next to the X he had put to mark it had been 3:00am at the time, was a X in glowing ink, next to the second X, in more glowing ink, it said, "Meet us tomorrow night." Okay... not creepy at all! Mike thought as he continued to work. He checked how close he was to the end of his shift, for real this time. 5:00am. One hour left. He proceeded to close the doors every-so-often, when eventually, the bells chimed.
6:00am. had. arrived.

I ended up getting lazy halfway through the Phone Guy dialogue and found a website, and just started copy and pasting lol- I tried my best to make this chapter since I didn't really know how I could make Michael's actions while also writing the Phone Guy lines in a way where it looked like the Phone Guy was talking while Mike was working.
Here's the website where I got the phone guy lines along with a link to the video I was using at first!
