Yippee for the first chapter since I left for my trip!
My AU has changed. I decided to stop villainizing William so much- The original plan was that Eli died first because William was so obsessed with immortality, only Elizabeth still enjoys her father's presence, blah blah blah. However, I have realized I really like Mike and William's father-son relationship when they enjoy each other, therefore, my au will now have more Afton Sibling drama rather than William drama. Dw, there will still be some William drama with the missing children, Henry, etc. However, now, Evan will have died first, not Eli. This will warrant some drama with the siblings instead of what would have happened where the siblings would just end up being left in the dust while William and Michael got most of the drama. Sorry for those who would have preferred the first plan! I'm just trying to make my favoritism less obvious, and make sure that Evan and Eli get some light for those who enjoy the two little beans. (For clarification: I also enjoy the beans, I just used to be a sucker for William - Michael drama)

Why am I coming back here again, Mike thought with a sigh. This place was God forsaken. Who knew how many people had died here? Was figuring out what Father was up to really worth risking his life, time and time again? Michael didn't know the answer to that question. He barely knew the answer to how his sister died! Let alone, why Circus Baby had that mechanism, was Father really that mad about Evans death that he had to make killer robots? Whatever. Mike needed to survive tonight. He had to. Tonight was when whoever had written to him was going to continue to communicate with him. He needed those answers, badly.
Mike made his way to the office, making sure to not even spare the animatronics on the stages a glance as he went past them. Once he reached the office, he sat down, leaning the crutches he used against the wall behind the chair. He began tapping his finger against the desk as he waited for the phone call that showed the night had started to begin ringing. Sure enough, the phone started to ring. Once. Twice. Three times, before it got picked up and the previous nightguard began talking.
"Uh, hello, hello? Uh, well, if you're hearing this and you made it to day two, uh, congrats! I won't talk quite as long this time since Freddy and his friends tend to become more active as the week progresses. Uh, it might be a good idea to peek at those cameras while I talk just to make sure everyone's in their proper place. You know..." Michael was wise enough to do as the guy said, checking the logbook often. Waiting... for the X on 2:00Am to be marked.
"Uh, interestingly enough, Freddy himself doesn't come off stage very oftеn. I heard he becomеs a lot more active in the dark though, so, hey, I guess that's one more reason not to run out of power, right? I-I also want to emphasize the importance of using your door lights. There are blind spots in your camera views, and those blind spots happen to be right outside of your doors." Safety issues, oooof course, Mike thought idly as the Phone Guy continued to talk. "So, if-if you can't find something, or someone, on your cameras, be sure to check the door lights. Uh, you might only have a few seconds to react... Uh, not that you would be in any danger, of course. I'm not implying that." Yes, yes you are implying that. "Also, check on the curtain in Pirate Cove from time to time. The character in there seems unique in that he becomes more active if the cameras remain off for long periods of time. I guess he doesn't like being watched. I don't know. Anyway, I'm sure you have everything under control! Uh, talk to you soon!" He's talking about Foxy... isn't he, Mike sighed, switching onto Pirate Cove only to see Foxy's hook hand wrapped around the curtain. Yep. That wasn't there before. Mike checked the door lights only to see Chica peering through the window, her expression seemingly equal to that of Mangle's when.. the Bite of '87 occurred. Maliceful, dangerous... mad. He closed the door swiftly, shaking his head to rid himself of the bad memories.
Mike checked the survival logbook, it was now 4:00Am, and some changes were definitely noticeable. "Nice to finally meet you! The others told me about you from before, however, they think you are someone you aren't..." Once again, thank you William for being a serial killer and the fact that I am a direct copy of you, Michael thought sarcastically as he read the glowing text on the page, assuming they meant the animatronics thought he was William, thank goodness this person knows I'm not him! "My friend told me who you really are, you did something very bad to my friend a long time ago..." ...I just jinxed myself. It appears this person also wants to kill me, Mike thought with a groan. He just couldn't get a break, could he?
"Dun dum dum dum diddly dum dum dum.." Foxy could be heard singing from down the hall, Mike turned on the camera and flipped it to Pirate's Cove only to see Foxy's jaw peeking from the curtains. With a shudder, he flipped the camera back off, perhaps Foxy couldn't tell if the camera was on or off? Mike sure hoped so.
Mike flicked on the lights for the doors, only to see Bonnie in front of the left door, with a thud the door came crashing down, blocking Bonnie from reaching his prize. Mike checked the battery he had left. "68%" Michael breathed a sigh of relief as he read the amount of power left from the monitor.
He flipped open his survival logbook. 5:00Am, one more hour to go, he thought, before realizing there was new writing from the person communicating to him. "My friend wants to forgive you." The note read, just below it, there was another text. One that sent shivers down Mike's spine. "I don't think my friend should."

After a brief pause, Michael continued working. He seemed more wary though, consistently looking behind his back, checking the door lights more often. He knew this person was out to get him, and although he wasn't sure, Mike thought he had an answer who. Missing children's posters would appear every-so-often instead of posters or signs where there were supposed to be. Where the Freddy poster was, sometimes a missing report for a kid named Gabriel -------- was instead. Where Chica's poster was, would be a missing report for a kid named Susie --------. Bonnie would have the report of Jeremy -----------, while a report for a kid named Fritz ---------- would be hung up over Foxy's OUT OF ORDER sign. Those children, possessed to corresponding animatronic. There was only one Missing Child left, other than Charlie and Sammy, who were killed at Fredbear's instead of Freddy's. Cassidy --------. Cassidy was the one sending these messages, and she knew someone he had wronged. She knew that someone and wanted to take revenge for them. Even if that someone didn't want her to.
Michael had a good idea who this someone was.
When suddenly,
The bells for 6:00Am chimed.
----------------------------------------------------------------
After Mike left the pizzeria, Cassidy's PoV
----------------------------------------------------------------
Cassidy looked at the other animatronics, this wasn't good. Not only did Michael know who possessed who, that she was sending the messages, but also that Mike knew who was here, and he had gotten away, alive!
No matter, he shouldn't survive tomorrow night... unless Evan messes it up. But Evan's plans almost never work. Surely, they wouldn't work now.
Surely, Mike wouldn't live past tomorrow night.
...
Right?
Cassidy just wanted some revenge for her dearest friend! Why couldn't he see that?
...
Either way, she will get his revenge.
It doesn't matter if he doesn't want her to.
Good friends will help each other. She's just helping him...
