The morning sun rose over Ilvermorny, casting long shadows over the castle grounds. The news of Marcus's death and Hale's betrayal spread quickly, leaving the entire school community in shock and mourning. Headmistress Whitlock knew that they couldn't face the Eclipse Society alone; they needed allies.
Ethan and Lila, still reeling from the events of the previous night, met with Whitlock and Professor Dawes in the headmistress's office. Whitlock's face was etched with determination. "We need to reach out to other magical communities and institutions. The Eclipse Society is a threat to us all."
Professor Dawes nodded in agreement. "We have contacts within the American Ministry of Magic, as well as other wizarding schools. We can start there."
Ethan leaned forward, his face grim. "We need to act fast. Hale has the Heart of Sayre, and who knows what they're planning to do with it."
Whitlock placed a hand on Ethan's shoulder. "We'll stop them, Ethan. But we can't do it alone. I'll send word to our allies immediately."
As Whitlock began drafting letters and sending messages via enchanted owls, Ethan and Lila decided to reach out to some of their trusted friends and colleagues. They made their way to the Auror headquarters, where they found a group of Aurors preparing for a mission.
"We need your help," Ethan announced, drawing the attention of the room. "The Eclipse Society is planning something big, and we can't do this alone."
One of the Aurors, a seasoned witch named Amelia, stepped forward. "We'll help in any way we can. What do you need?"
"We need to track down Hale and the Eclipse Society," Lila explained. "And we need to protect Ilvermorny in the meantime."
Amelia nodded. "We'll divide our forces. Some of us will stay here to reinforce the school's defenses, and the rest will join you in the search for Hale."
With the plan in motion, Ethan and Lila felt a renewed sense of purpose. They returned to the headmistress's office, where Whitlock and Dawes were finalizing their communications with other magical institutions.
"We've received responses from several allies," Whitlock said, looking up from her desk. "They're ready to assist us."
The room was filled with a sense of hope and determination. Despite the loss they had suffered, they were not alone in this fight. The magical community was coming together to stand against the threat posed by the Eclipse Society.
As the day wore on, more and more wizards and witches arrived at Ilvermorny, each bringing their unique skills and resources to the table. The castle became a bustling hub of activity, with plans being made and defenses being strengthened.
Ethan and Lila took a moment to step outside and breathe in the fresh air. "We're going to stop them, Lila," Ethan said, looking out over the grounds.
Lila nodded, her eyes filled with resolve. "For Marcus. And for everyone else
