Today, Jeremy, Andy and the children were going grocery shopping.

They'd come to their favorite market, Tesco.

Jeremy put Matt on a little seat in the cart.

Matt liked sitting in the cart. So did Lucy.

"Daddy, can I sit in the trolley too?" said Lucy.

Jeremy laughed. "You're too big for the trolley, Lucy luv."

"But you can help with the shopping" said Andy. "There's four things on our list. Tomatoes, spaghetti, onions, and fruit."

"I can find those easy" said Lucy.

The family entered the store and went looking for the first thing on their list.

The first thing on the list was tomatoes, so they went to the produce section.

Lucy led her family to the tomatoes and put four of them in a plastic bag.

"I found the tomatoes!" she sang.

"Very good, Lucy luv" said Jeremy. "Now. Do you remember the second thing on our list?"

"Spaghetti!" said Lucy.

"Pee-getty" said Matt.

"Very good, Matt. But it's called spaghetti" said Jeremy.

"Pee-getty" said Matt.

He still needed to learn to speak correctly.

But that didn't stop him or Lucy from loving the idea of spaghetti. It was their favorite food.

So Lucy led the way to the spaghetti aisle, grabbed a box, and put it in the cart.

"Excellent" said Andy. "Now what's next?"

"Crisps" Lucy guessed.

"Crisps are not on the list" said Jeremy.

"We have plenty of those at home" said Andy. "Matt, do you remember the next thing on our list?"

"Dine-saw" said Matt.

"Dinosaur?" said Andy.

"Oh, Matt" Lucy sighed. "There aren't any dinosaurs in the supermarket."

Andy laughed. "No. The third thing on the list is onions."

"Oh yes! I remember now" said Lucy.

The family went back to the produce section and put four onions in a plastic bag before adding them to the cart.

"Very good. Now what's next?" said Andy.

Matt took a potted plant off a shelf.

"No, no, no, Matt" Jeremy laughed. "The last thing on our list is fruit."

"Oh" said Matt with disappointment.

"But you can choose it" said Andy.

The fruits on display consisted of apples, oranges, bananas, and a HUGE watermelon.

"What fruit shall we have, Matt?" said Jeremy.

Matt lifted the watermelon and put it in the cart.

"A melon!" said Lucy.

Then, it was time to pay. The items all went down the conveyor belt and Andy paid with her credit card.

Matt and Lucy love shopping. Everyone loves shopping.
