ZELLA

Today Liam picked me up from my apartment in the morning, and drove me to his office.

When I got into the car, he had coffee and doughnuts placed in there for me, which my empty stomach was more than happy to devour.

I am supposed to meet Sage today, to discuss my dress for The Gala coming up, so Liam told me he'll pick me up and when we reached the building, I decided to spend some time with him in his office before meeting Sage.

"I think it's going to rain today." I state, looking out of the window. The weather has been gloomy since morning, dark clouds cover the sky.

Liam looks up from his laptop, to where I'm standing in front of the window. "Looks like it."

"Your office must feel so cozy during the rain," I groan.

"You think my office is cozy?" He sounds amused, and walks over to where I'm standing.

I nod my head and look out of the window again, as he stands next to me.

The view from his office is always so pretty, I love it. But, today it is extremely breathtaking. Dark clouds hover over the buildings, that stand tall amidst the mist.

The city is still bustling, despite the gloomy weather. Building's windows are lit up with lights, making the city look so beautiful.

"I could watch this view for hours." I gush, and open the window, letting the air fill inside the room.

"Then do it, no one's going to stop you," He whispers in my ear, and brushes my hair from my face, which is now flying because of the wind.

A knock on the door sounds, and Sage walks in two seconds later, not waiting for permission to come in.

She stops in her track when she sees us standing together, and her eyebrows shoot up. "This is becoming a daily occurrence."

Another voice comes from behind. "Can I come in? Are you guys decent?"

Matter walks in with his hands over his eyes and Liam lets out a frustrated sigh.

"See I told you she was here," Matteo says to Sage before turning to me. "She wasn't believing me when I told her Zella was already here, but instead of meeting her she was with Liam."

I cringe at the way he was wording it.

"I had to talk to Liam about something, besides, how did you even know I was here?"

He smirks and looks at Liam. "One of our employees was curious about why Zella Walter, our new collaboration partner, has been visiting Liam's office so much lately."

Oh God.

Liam ignores that and instead asks. "Do you guys have any work to do here?"

"Yes actually, we do. We were supposed to have a meeting today, remember?" Sage says
pointedly.

"Of course we remember, I was about to come and meet you in a while. I'm sorry," I grimace.
