"You slept with Liam Gregor?!"

"And you almost kissed him again?"

I groan, already regretting telling my best friends about what has been going on in my life since the past few weeks.

I hadn't met Natalia since so long, we only talked occasionally on calls or texts due to our work. Even Sydney and I have been only meeting at work. So I decided to call them over to my house to have a girl's night.

Natalia and Sydney both gape at me.

The former is still in her shocked stage but Sydney has gained back her composure. "So you're telling me that you slept with the guy you're currently working with?"

"I slept with him before I started working with him," I correct her but they both ignore that piece of information.

"And you almost kissed him again?" Nat adds and I nod.

Syd lets out a low whistle, laying back in my bed. "Damn Zella Walter, you've been hiding a lot from us."

Guilt waves through me. I feel bad for not telling my best friends about this, but I was confused about the whole situation.

"I didn't know what to tell you guys, I still haven't fully wrapped my head around the whole situation, I'm sorry."

"Forget that, instead tell us about him," Nat grins, looking too excited.

I laugh and find the correct words to say. "I mean... He's fine, I guess."

She scoffs. "Oh I bet he's fine."

I throw a pillow at her head. "What do you want me to tell you guys? He's hot and he's nice to me."

"Yeah well that much is obvious from his pictures," Sage mutters, clearly not happy with the lack of answer.

Leave it to my best friends to want to know every single detail of someone's life.

I narrow my eyes at my two friends. "Did you guys search him?"

Nat shrugs innocently. "We needed to see who you're working with."

"You guys are impossible," I laugh.

"Come on Zel, give us a little more detail than that. How is he nice?" Sydney raises her eyebrows suggestively and I blush despite my best intentions.

"Look at her blushing! Oh my God, you're down bad."

I ignore her and start speaking. "So.. He called me to his office on monday to choose my pictures with him, and we ended up eating lunch together. Then he also asked me about my work and exhibition, he listened to me so intently, no one has taken so much interest in my work before."

I sigh dreamily and Natalia scoffs. "I take interest in your work. A lot of interest actually."

"And I literally work for you," Sydney adds.

I roll my eyes and correct my self. "No man has taken so much interest in my work. Anyway, we just talked aimlessly for like over an hour after lunch, and then I left for work."
