ZELLAIf Amo thought I was mad at Ivy, Liam's reaction is ten times worse.
He knows better than to voice it though.
When he walked in on us hugging like that, he was more than confused. But Isabella washed away his confusion soon after telling him, in a not so empathetic way, that Amo's girlfriend cheated on him.
After that Liam wanted to know everything that happened.
We all settled in the living room, with me sitting next to Liam and leaning against him. Amo and Isabella were on the couch across of us.
"I fucking hate her," Liam whispers loudly in my ear. "I can't believe she did this."
"Me too," I whisper back.
"You know I can hear you guys right?" Amo deadpans, looking at us with an unamused expression.
"No one likes her Amo. Everyone hates her, even in school," Isabella rolls her eyes. "You should've known better than to date her."
"Isa," Liam warns. She can be very insensitive sometimes.
"What? It's true." She shrugs and Liam sighs.
"Okay I get it, you warned me about her. You can stop rubbing it in my face now," Amo snaps.
"I'm not rubbing it in your face!"
Before Amo can say something else, Liam stops him. "Both of you now, no need to fight. Isa, Amo is clearly upset, you can try to be a bit more considerate."
"That's what I don't understand! He's still sulking over her, she's not deserving of that. She's a bitch, she's so rude to everyone. No one likes her, except for him," She points at Amo.
Liam groans and rubs a hand over his face in frustration. Isabella clearly doesn't know how the process of moving on from someone works.
"Don't call her that," Amo says and Isabella gapes at him as if she can't believe he is siding with her after all she did, and doesn't want her to call his ex a bitch.
Isabella opens her mouth to give a sassy reply but the doorbell rings.
"The pizza is here!" I cheered. "Now let's put all of this aside for a while and eat while watching a movie. Let's not forget, it's Amo's birthday, and we should celebrate it."
"She's the only person with a brain here," Amo mutters.
Liam looks offended by that. "Hey! I've been doing nothing but listening to you and giving you useful advice."
"Who ordered pizza and didn't invite me over?"
We all look at the entryway of the living room where Ren, Amo's friend, saunters in.
"Didn't I tell you to leave me alone today?" Amo tries to look angry, but a small grateful smile pulls up his lips slightly.
"Since when do I listen to you?" Ren raises an eyebrow and goes over to push his shoulder lightly.
I look over at Liam, who is watching them with a small smile. I can see he's glad that his brother has a friend, who's there to support him and be there for him during all that's going on.
"So, what's the plan for today?" Ren asks.
"Pizza and movie night," Isabella mutters.
His eyes start shining in excitement. "Pizza and movie night? Count me in!"
Isabella looks the opposite of happy from his intervention but doesn't say anything as we start eating and play a movie.

After the movie, Ren had a few words with Amo and then left when he thought Amo was good enough to be left alone now.
Isabella went to her room, and I decided to go upstairs to Liam's room, so that he can have some time with his brother, and talk to him alone. I know that he's stressed about him.
It's over an hour when Liam comes back to his room. I'm half asleep when I feel the bed dip behind me with his weight.
I turn around and see Liam sitting on the bed with his back against the headboard. He got rid of his shirt, and is rubbing his eyes tiredly with his fingers.
Sitting up, I close the distance between us and snuggle against him.
Wrapping an arm over his torso, I mumble against his chest. "You're worried about Amo."
"Yes," He sighs and wraps his arm around me. "He liked her a lot, I'm just worried about how heartbroken he is."
I don't say anything and let him continue. "And it's not just that. It's that she was his first real friend, after Ren of course. He was so close to her. He already has a difficult time getting close to people and trusting them and she broke his trust and his heart. I'm scared that he won't be able to move on easily and trust someone else. I don't want him to think that there won't be someone else out for him."
I smile sadly. "Moving on is never easy, but he'll get around. Trust me. It's natural to get trust issues after this or not open up to someone quickly, but he'll know it's not the end for him when he finds someone worthy of him. Someone he genuinely loves and someone who loves him too."
"That's true." He tightens his hold on me. "I'm just worried about him."
"I know." I place a kiss on his naked chest. "And I understand that."
He looks down at me and smiles. "I'm glad to have you here."
I grin back. "I'm glad to be here."
