Chapter 17: Plans

Hello! Let's just get straight into our chapter today! ❤️

Tsukishima's POV:

After a few days of spending time with my family, including my brother, which I really didn't want to do. Yamaguchi and I went back to our own home to prepare to go back to work again. On the drive to work Yams asked me "so, do you really think Mrs. Shimizu will fall for this? She seems to be really smart."

"Of course she's smart baby. Why do you think my parents hired her? Other than her money and fame, she's quite smart. I'm smarter though and I'm already a step ahead of her." I saw Yams get a little nervous as we pulled into the parking lot, but I reassured him that nothing will happen to him again.

I want to promise him that this wont turn into a bunch of drama that he'll have to deal with. I'll even do my best to keep him out of it, if I can't, then I'll protect him. I made this promise to myself, in my head, then held his hand as we walked into work.

We walked to our offices, which were moved around a bit since the Terushima incident. We had moved Yams and I to the top of the building instead of the second highest. There's only two offices in the top building. One is for my parents and one is for us two. My parents had rearranged our office to make it to where we both had our separate spaces.

This made both of us feel much, much safer and my parents even added a bodyguard who stood right next to the elevator, which is the only way to this floor. They did this for Yamaguchi's safety and for the safety of our baby.

After we settled into our office and made sure everything was organized, I used my phone machine to talk to Daichi. Daichi is one of the highest employees in the entire building, especially after Hinata quit. "Hey Chi, what's the plans for today?" He heard me and answered back "well, Mrs. Shimizu hasn't been here at all yet today, so her project off the tables to work on."

That definitely isn't normal and I know for a fact that no one else in this whole building knows about the plans. I told him "if you see her, tell her that I need to talk to her..immediately." He agreed and I looked at Yams, who seemed to be a bit worried "it's alright baby. None of this will affect you in any way, and that's a promise."

Yamaguchi's POV:

I believe him, I really do, but I'm still worried about what Mrs. Shimizu is able to do and what she's doing. I shook off the bad thoughts and walked to my desk, then asked Kei "do we have any specific projects for today?" He sighed and told me "yeah, there's a lot of small projects that I put back in order to make time for the bigger ones."

Ugh I don't like when he does that because those people's projects' that he pushes back calls us and complains. "Babe, you shouldn't push those back. We can easily work on them and having so many people complain about us and our slow work isn't good for the company." He thought about it for a minute and told me "okay, we'll do as many of those as we can today, okay?"

So, that's exactly what we do! We do almost every little project, with help from others of course, and had them shipped to the appropriate owners. It was almost the end of the day and Shimizu was still nowhere to be found. Until, she suddenly made her way into the room, which wasn't right. Normally, the guard would ask us if that's okay, but he didn't this time.

Both Kei and I looked up to see her standing there and the guard quickly ran in, "ma'am you can't be up here without permission!" Kei quickly told him "she has permission, but how did she make her way here in the first place?" The guard was sweating and told him "she..made a move on me sir...I got distracted. I'm so sorry!"
