𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐀 far walk to the location you left the mission to go, but you were used to the distance. You had gone there several times in the recent year, it was a second home for you, oddly enough. Like you told that kind boy of wonder, Tanjiro, your memories returning to you was very important. There was a ritual you would repeat monthly, but with the absence of your memories, you failed to continue in the cent months.
Nonetheless, now that your memories have returned, you were aware of the offer made to you before they were lost. And once you return to the master of the Demon Slayers, you had a vow with your father you needed to meet. But times were different, you weren't sure if you wanted to anymore. That is why you had to leave for awhile.
As previously mentioned, it was quite a walk to your destination, two days and added hours to be exact. You walked up mountains, down hills, pass valleys and through woods. Despite this, you truly didn't mind the walk, you never did. It allowed time for you thoughts to consume you, for peace of silence, a moment alone with yourself for awhile.
It was night when you finally reached your destination, Hoshi Village. A village covered in the beautiful colors of vibrant blues, purples, pinks, greens and white. Even with it being the late hours of night, it was still as lively as it was during the day. Wisteria trees planted time ago, surrounded the village. Sweet smells, beautiful colors, nice music, many activities and very friendly people. Hoshi Village was a beautiful place.
When you first approached the village, it was the formers on the outskirts that spotted you and alerted the people of your presence. When you approached the heart of the village, your eyes widen in surprise when you saw the village people waiting for you.
"There she is!"
"Lady Haru!"
"Alert the chief!"
The shouts of your arrival ignited a chain reaction amounts the people of the village. Sounds and sights of confetti, music, clap of hands and amilws filled your vision and ears. It was overwhelming but not surprising, it had been sometime since you last visited, they probably thought you had died.
Before you could speak, a familiar feminine voiced spoke first. "Settle down, everyone. Don't scare the poor woman. Please clear a path for Lady Haru, if you would be so kind." The crowd gasped and moved aside, forming a pathway to reveal the woman you were well acquainted with.
"Mayuka." You smiled and greeted the familiar woman as she approached you. She had long black hair that was tied up in a traditional japanese style, with a few accessories. She was just barely taller than you, wearing a beautiful blue kimono. "Pleasure to see you again."
