32: Reveal

tsubakino, a seasoned member of Bofurin known for his sharp wit, turned to (y/n), "(y/n)...how...do you know endo?" he asks, his voice heavy with anticipation.

(y/n) blinks owlishly as all the attention darts to her, making her flush. she clears her throat, about to speak when she was cut off.

umemiya was shocked, "...eh??" He darts his gaze back and forth between her and tsubakino with wide eyes, "you know endo??" He asks her with incredulity before turning to tsubakino with furrowed brows, "why didn't you tell me??"

tsubakino furrows his brows and exclaims, "i didn't know what to think!! *sigh*" he calms down. there was a tension in the air as he explains how endo and (y/n) seem to know each other considering the way he was behaving around her.

umemiya's expression remained impassive, but the tension in his shoulders betrayed his interest...well, everyone's interest.

(y/n), a girl known for her stubborn streak, kind heart, and infectious energy, sat calmly, her glimmering (e/c) hues sparkle with amusement. To those who knew her, this was no ordinary girl.

despite her bubbly exterior, she was a fearsome fighter, capable of holding her own against any of the furin boys. Yup, she kicks butt..!

the question, however, had caught her off guard. A collective gasp echoed through the area.

sigh, looks like the cat's outta the bag. "...he met me twice," (y/n) continued, her voice light, "and tried to recruit me into noroshi. Apparently, he thought I had potential." A snort escaped her lips as everyone was stunned by the words escaping her lips.

(y/n) huffs, "...he stalked me around for a while, annoying me with his constant attempts to convince me. I finally told him to leave me alone...but he keeps following me around like a lost puppy." she picks at the lint on her clothes distractedly.

an air of disbelief fell over the atmosphere. The furin boys (minus the trio and some others), who had witnessed endo's brutal fighting firsthand, found it hard to believe that he would be so persistent, let alone respectful, towards a girl and to hear that he was pursuing the (h/c)-ette with such persistence was baffling.

for as long as umemiya and the team leaders of bofurin has known endo, he was never seen around girls before let alone approached them.

hiragi, the stress too much for him, took a pill and swallowed it as he broke the silence, "you're saying he was...nice to you?"

(y/n) hums, a finger under her chin as she contemplates what his term 'nice' meant, "if you count endo sneaking up on me while i was working my job or pinning me against an alleyway being...nice....then yeah, i guess so." she grins, shrugging her shoulders.

umemiya, suo, sakura and sugishita had irk marks. pinning her against the wall!?? when was this!??

(y/n) grins, her expression playful, "endo was definitely annoying, sure. But he never tried anything violent or...creepy. he just wouldn't take 'no' for an answer."

mizuki pushes his glasses up, eyeing the pretty (h/c)-ette whom smiles at him. he flushes, ears going red before clearing his throat, "..this is all interesting news to us, but...why you? what is his goal??" he murmurs, catching umemiya and the other's attention.

(y/n) shrugged, a hint of a smirk playing on her lips, "maybe he likes a challenge!!" she said, her gaze meeting umemiya's, "or maybe he's just really bad at taking a hint."
