"Hey," I drag out the y laughing awkwardly as I take the call. "I hate you," she responds.
"I'm sorry, but it was 1 a.m. when I posted that I ended up falling asleep after replying to you. I was tired and tipsy."
"Yeah, whatever now go on."
"No clue as to what you're talking about."
"He's so fine, why do I need him?" she mocks dramatically.
"Shut up!" I whine. As I stand up, I head towards the bathroom to start getting ready for today. "What happened to 'I'm not looking for a relationship'?" "I'm still not; it was just me being dramatic about how good looking he is and joking about it." I respond as I start to watch my face. "Yeah, 'joking'" she says, forming the quotation mark with her fingers.
This time, a little more seriously, I respond, "I am, and you know it." "Okay, fine, you may not like him, but it still doesn't change the fact that you think he's attractive." "I think a lot of people are attractive." "Okay, but you don't flirt with them. I'm not blind; I saw his comment and your reply."
"We're both just messing around; we're not serious," I reply as I finish brushing my teeth. "Fine, I'll drop it for now, but I so see it."
"See what"
"It happening; you and Lando."
I initially chuckle, assuming she's kidding, but then I realize she's not "Oh, you're being serious.. as if that'd ever happen." I laugh. "Anyway, I'm going out with Alex and Charles today on his yacht. Help me choose an outfit pretty please."

It was multiple hours later, and I was now with Alex and Charles. We had just returned from swimming and were sitting at the table eating fried rice. I used this opportunity to ask Alex how she's been because we hadn't had a chance to catch up yesterday, when we were out clubbing. "I know how Charles has been, but how have things been going for you the past few months?"
"Good, I've been studying and going to art exhibitions."
"I noticed you attended the Grand Prix in Monaco. How was it? Was this your first race attendance?"
"Yes, seeing it live is different; it's much more thrilling."
"Yes, you're right! I miss the excitement of it."
"Why don't you come to the Netherlands to watch the race?" Charles abruptly interrupts the discussion.
"When is it?"
"The day after your album drops til the 27th"
"I'll ask my manager; I may not be able to make it for practice or quali, but maybe I can make it for the race."
