" Woah." She could hear him mutter under his breath while staring at her in wonder, when she reached the spot where his car was parked. "You look..." Lando could not find words. "Goodness gracious." As she laughed, he became agitated and covered his face to conceal his blush. "Why, thank you; I know I have that effect."
Cassie smiled as Lando opened the door for her to get into the car. "What a gentleman." She laughed. "You look nice." She said when he finally got into the car himself.
"Well, these are for you." He took a bouquet out of the rear seat. "I believed I stated that this wasn't a date." "Friends give friends flowers." he responded.
Her eyes softened, glancing at the flowers as he smiled proudly. "How'd you know these were my favorite?" She bit down a smile as he smirked knowingly. "I've got my ways." He shrugged as a tug at her lips formed once again.
"They're beautiful." Her heart felt cozy. "Beautiful flowers for the most beautiful girl." With a cheesy tone, Lando smiled and she lightly smacked him on his chest. "Cringe, just shut up and drive." She insulted as he laughed.

They're seated, and the waiter has left after taking their orders, when Lando finally initiates the conversation.
"So.. Charles says that you're coming to the Netherlands," he pipes up, taking a sip of his water as Cassie nods.
"Yeah. How are you feeling about that, are you excited for it?" she asks, and Lando chuckles "Well the car has been pretty shit so i'm hoping for at least top ten."
"But this is your first race in a while, isn't it? You haven't been to a race in what 3 years?" She nods. "3 years, yeah, I'm excited. I love going to races."
"And we love having you there."
"You are such a flirt." She laughs, "Well, expect to see me at more races next season." He quirks a brow. "Oh? And why's that?" "I requested that the race schedule coincide with my upcoming tour." "You're going on tour?" Grinning, she gives a nod. "Yes, finally."
"I'll get VIP tickets, right?" she smirks. "You'll have to work for it," he laughs. "Alright, so what must I do?" "I'll give you lifetime VIP passes, If you manage to get a podium in one of these upcoming races." "For life? Deal. You can't take that back, that's a promise." She extends her pinky with a smile. He laughs at her and interlocks their pinkies.
"Where do you want to perform the most?" She smiles as she thinks about it, then says, "It would be amazing to perform for my home crowd in Miami, I grew up there." She then grins and says, "I actually got asked this question on Vogue yesterday." She chuckles.
"What about you? What's your favorite race?" She asks, "Definitely Silverstone; it's not only my home race but Mclaren's as well; it's amazing." He smiles and then says, "Let's play 20 questions."
"What is this an interview?" She laughs, "Don't ask boring questions." He chuckles, "I won't, so my first question." He pauses for a minute before smirking, "Will you be my girlfriend?" The scathing glance she shot him makes him giggle. She quips, "You are so annoying," sounding irritated, but a smile appears on her face.
"Sorry, I just had to, okay for real, though. Hmm." "If you could invent any gadget, what would it do?" he asks after giving it some thought. She thinks for a minute before smiling, "A wand and it would help move things around."
"Just move things around?"
"Well, if it could do more, it wouldn't just be used for good."
After they both thank the waiter for the food, she asks this time, "What's the last thing on your phone that you took a screenshot of?" He checks before laughing. "It's a screenshot of our conversation; I sent it to my friend." She laughs, "Wait, boys, do that too. I thought it was just a girl thing."
As conversation keeps flowing between them, Cassiopeia feels at ease. Lando is easy to talk to. He's funny and jokingly flirty but also kind, and she can't help but warm up to him and his charm. As time goes by, she can't help but be glad that she accepted his offer. She sees him as a close friend in the future.
