The next morning, everyone got together. Again.
"So any new life changing news or can I go back to bed," Edward exclaimed
"Well actually I do," I said "I believe that Mr. Charles Walker is the murderer,"
"Ugh," He said
"I have proof,"
"Well let's hear it,"
"Before we do that; Charles do you happen to now a James Walker,"
"Yes, thats my father,"
"There's my first piece of evidence you're very rich, father has been trying to take over the company for years," I said. "Next question, Is this the first time you've been on a train for this company?"
"Yes?"
"To give you all some background knowledge our driver was the Founder of this company and he retired from CEO, but the only way someone can become the new CEO is if you get through him,"
"Ok?" Betty said confused
"Well, to put it in simple terms Charles knew this and since his dad was having a frustrating time getting through him, seeing the man that was causing his father so much misery. He decided to get rid of him by going into the party
"Well, to put it in simple terms Charles knew this and since his dad was having a frustrating time getting through him, seeing the man that was causing his father so much misery. He decided to get rid of him by going into the party room during the night a snatching the rat poison and feeding it to our lovely driver, any objections,"
"I have one," Edith said
"Excuse me?!"
"You said he got the drink during the night, but the party room was locked last night I saw one of the workers locking it last night,"
"Ok then he got it when he went to the welcome party,"
"Well that doesn't work either,"
"And why is that," I said
"He wasn't there I was roaming around the entire party room during the party and no sign of Charles,"
"Well, then who do you think it is if you're so smart?"
"Ernest,"
"What, me?!"
"Yes you. Because having a clear motive with your family's bankruptcy added to the fact that you were at the party last night you could have easily gotten the poison considering you were at the bar the whole time. And to add the cherry on top you were acting nervous at the interrogation and refused to answer questions,"
"Dang," I said as ernest was trying to scurry to the bathroom
"GET HIM," Edith said
I ran over and grabbed him by the hands restraining him from running farther.
"Lock him in the cockpit,"
"WHAT NO I'M INNOCENT I TELL YOU INNOCENT," He said as I was dragging him in through the door.
"LET ME GO," he screeched as I close the door behind him.
"Well i'm gonna go take a nap," I was not going to do that. I hurried over to my room and grabbed my notes from the interrogations from my deep red suitcase. I was unconvinced it was Ernest, I don't know what it is, it just didn't seem right.
"I never thought it would be this difficult," as much as I would like to put Ernest in prison for the rest of his life, this doesn't seem right. Eventually I fell asleep while trying to figure out this death trap of a case.
