Young love (a sequel to fall in love)

16 (20 years old)

Dakota is now 8 months pregnant and she is turning 20 today. "Happy birthday baby!" Indy says waking her up with a cake. "Aww thanks" Dakota replies. "Your officially not a teenager" Indy says. "Don't say that I feel old" Dakota replies.

"You ain't old, your only 20" Indy replies sitting next to her. "Whatcha wanna do today?" Indy asks. "Nothing much just chill with you unless my parents come over" Dakota replies. "Easy enough, I made you pancakes whenever your ready to eat" Indy says walking to the kitchen.

Dakota throws on a hoodie and walks to the kitchen as her flannel pajama pants drag the floor. "Dang this smells great" Dakota says sitting on the wooden barstool at the counter.

"Thanks baby" Indy replies sliding a plate of pancakes towards her. Dakota starts eating and so does Indy.

"So, I have a game on Saturday and I figured you could come if ya want" Indy says. "Of course I'll come I'll just have to sit down low cause I can't climb all them stairs" Dakota replies. "Ok I'll get you a seat at the bottom"
Indy replies picking up the dirty dishes from the counter and placing them in the sink.

Dakota walks to the bedroom to change and get ready when the doorbell rings. "Can you get that please!" Dakota shouts from the bathroom. "Yeah!" Indy shouts walking to the door and opening it. "Hey uh is Dakota here?"
A tall brunette guy asks.

"Yes, what can we do for ya?" Indy asks. "Oh we were in college together and I just wanted to say hi" The guy says.
"Dakota! Some guy is here for ya" Indy shouts. "Huh?" Dakota says walking around the corner. "Hey Dakota how you been?" He asks.

"Oh hey Dalton, I'm good" Dakota replies. "You just passin through or?" Dakota asks. "Yeah I'm out here for my job" Dalton replies. Indy stands and watches them talk until he finally leaves. "So he was in your class?" Indy asks.
"Yep, but I guess being a barber didn't work for him" Dakota replies.

Later that night Indy and Dakota are in bed and Indy feels Dakota stirring around. "You alright?" Indy asks.
"Not really, but it's dumb to be sad over" Dakota replies. "It's ok baby what's wrong?" Indy asks.
"I just really want Taco Bell" Dakota replies. "Honey, they aren't open right now" Indy replies.

"And that's why I'm sad, because everytime I want it they are closed" Dakota says as she sniffles. Indy tries to stay serious watching his pregnant girlfriend cry over Taco Bell, even though he didn't understand it he knew the hormones were hard for her.

"We can go tomorrow?" Indy suggests. "But I won't want it tomorrow" Dakota replies kinda snapping at him.
"It's ok, we will get your Taco Bell babe" Indy replies. Dakota lays back down and Indy rubs her back helping her fall asleep.

The next morning Indy woke up pretty early because he had an early practice. But he hears Dakota up while he's making his coffee. "Good mornin darlin" Indy says standing behind Dakota as she washs her face. "Good mornin" Dakota replies.

"I'm goin to practice I'll be back in a little while" Indy says kissing her and smiling. "Alright be safe, love you" Dakota replies. "Love you too" Indy says walking out the door. Indy walks out the door and gets into his truck.
About 30 minutes into practice he gets a call from Dakota.

"Hey baby everything alright?"

"Um not really I can't get up from the shower floor"

"Do I need to come home?"

"Let me try again hold on" the only thing he hears are the struggles of Dakota attempting to get up.

"You alright?"

"Ok I'm stuck good, this is so embarrassing oh my gosh"

"I'm comin practice is almost over anyways"
Indy hangs up the phone and hops into his truck. He arrives back home and walks in.
"alright im here" Indy says helping her up. "this is so embarrassing" Dakota says wrapping a towel around herself.
"no its not, its not your fault" Indy says. "yeah it is i sat down in there" Dakota replies.

"Well don't be embarrassed it's alright" Indy says. Dakota changes clothes and walks to the kitchen indy following behind her. Dakota grabs a pan from the cabinet and places it on the stove. As she stirs the dish indy walks up behind her and wraps his arms around her waist swaying her back and forth to the classic country music she had playing.

"What're ya doin?" Dakota asks slightly laughing as indy lip syncs to the music. "Singin to my baby mama" Indy replies. "Your a mess indy" Dakota says as he sways her back and forth to the music. "Kentucky bluebird I heard your song today" Indy sings.

"Oh lord indy I can't dance" Dakota says as he grabs her hand. "Yea ya can, let me lead ya" Indy says spinning her slowly making her laugh. "cowgirl you done lied to me, you can dance" Indy says pulling her in close and looking into her eyes.

"ya better let me finish cookin before it burns" Dakota says. "But I ain't done yet" Indy whines. "Your gonna have to be im cookin" Dakota replies breaking away from him and stirring the food once again. Indy continues swaying her as she cooks. "Indy I'm trying to cook, your gonna burn yourself" Dakota says pushing him away.

"Cmon baby, I'm just tryna hug ya" Indy replies. "Your trying to make love, I know you indy.." Dakota replies slightly giggling at his shocked expression. "Dakota! I would never!" Indy says letting out a slight smirk. "Not happening babe, I'm not in the mood, plus I'm 8 months pregnant" Dakota replies.

"Aw man, I can still dance with ya though" Indy says grabbing her hand once again twirling her around. As they dance in the kitchen the old farm house floor creaks with every spin. The rain starts to pour along with thunder.
"Like my dad says we need a little rain" Indy says.

"But in the song they're makin love, we are Dancin" Dakota replies looking into his blue eyes. "Even better I'll spin you round then" Indy says laughing about his reference. "I really have to cook baby, let me up" Dakota says as indy holds onto her.

"Shhh" Indy says holding her closer. "Indy cmon the foods gonna burn" Dakota replies. "Fine, go ahead" Indy says letting her up. She walks over and stirs the food once again after she's done she puts the food on plates and sets them on the table.

"Thanks for cookin, hope I didn't make ya burn it" Indy says sitting down at the table. "You didn't, I liked the Dancin" Dakota admits making Indy smile. After supper Dakota puts the dishes in the sink and changes into her pajamas.

Indy lays next to her wrapping his arm around her. "What's baby doin?" Indy asks. "Nothin much shes content right now" Dakota replies. "Have ya thought of any names yet?" Indy asks. "Yeah I think harper or Annie is cute" Dakota says.

"I like faith or may" Indy says. "What if we use your first name and mine as a middle name?" Dakota asks. "Whatever ya think darlin" Indy replies. "What about Annie may?" Indy asks. "Oh my god, I love that so much" Dakota says. "Welp we've got a little Annie may then" Indy says with a smile.

1 month later.
Dakota and Indy are asleep when Dakotas water breaks. "Oh my god, Indy wake up!" Dakota shouts shaking him awake. "Huh? You ok?" Indy says sleepy eyed as he sits up. "My water just broke! We've gotta go!" Dakota says in a shaky voice.

"Ok, calm down let me get your bag" Indy says grabbing her bag and throwing it in the truck. "Ok cmon we're ready" Indy says helping her up as she struggles to walk to the garage. "Shit!" Dakota yells slumping over in pain in the passenger seat.

"Hold on baby I'm drivin as fast as I can" Indy says reaching for her hand. Dakotas pain eases as they drive.
"Wait a sec babe" Dakota says. "Yeah? You alright?" Indy asks. "They ain't gonna let me eat, pull into that Wendy's" Dakota says making Indy laugh.

"Ya want Wendy's? Don't ya think we should get ya to the hospital first?" Indy asks. "No pull in I ain't jokin" Dakota says. "Will do baby" Indy says pulling in and ordering the food. "Now we can go to the hospital" Dakota says as they start to drive again.

Indy snaps a photo of Dakota in the car with her Wendy's for laughs. "You find this attractive?" Dakota asks.
"Very" Indy replies as they pull in.

They get into a room and Dakota is on her phone. Indy makes a post on instagram of Dakota with her Wendy's bag. The caption saying. "My girls got her priorities straight, gotta love her" After posting it he Waits for a doctor to come in.

The doctor comes in and comfirms she will be in labor soon. "Holy crap I feel the pain now" Dakota says slumping over. Indy walks over and rubs her back for comfort. Shortly after Dakota gave birth to miss Annie May Wallen.
Indy's eyes light up looking at his newborn daughter and his girlfriend together.
