Sofia the first : The love beyond infinity

The unexpected news

Sofia's P.O.V. :

We each took our usual seats at the table, waiting to be served our spectacular dinner as we saw empty spaced designate into sections, main meals, side meals and dessert. We ate delicious steak with salad as a side dish and ice-cream as dessert, then got to our rooms to finally rest up for tomorrow. Another week down, with the weekends approaching us yet Hugo was still on my mind... 

I woke up to Robin and Mia singing a beautiful song that was harmonious and lovely.

"Good morning princess!" They simultaneously greeted.

"Good morning Robin, Mia."

They flew out of sight as I eagerly expressed my emotions on my excitement for the day. I took a stretch after I jumped out of bed, Robin and Mia came back with a beautiful lavender coloured dress that had parts of light yellow and white on it as well. They helped me get ready for the day, getting me changed, helping me with my shoes and putting my tiara on for me as I showed them my gratitude by smiling, waving and talking to them. I exited the room, only then realising that's its been particularly quiet, too quiet...

"Where's Clover and Whatnaught?" I questioned looking back at the sight of two birds about to take flight towards the open window.

"They're busy with who knows what." Mia replied as they were making their way towards a tree next to the castle.

"Okay then." I mumbled, "See you!"

I waved goodbye to them as I entered the hallway, stunned to see Amber up so early.

"Fancy seeing you here!" I said, shocking Amber as she jumped up with her hands on her chest.

"Yeah.." Amber muttered as she took in a deep breath.

We strolled down the hallway, making our way to the dining hall as we caught a glimpse of James already shoving the delicious waffles Chef Andre had made for us down his throat.

"Uh uh uh James." Amber scolded.

James slowly lowered his hand, signifying defeat as Amber and I took our seats. James waited, not patiently but still waited, for us to prepare to eat, watching our every move.

"Okay, now you can eat James." Amber announced.

"Boom goes the cannon!" James squealed as he grabbed a handful of waffles, placing them on his plate.

"So James.." I spoke, trying to start a conversation James definitely didn't wanna finish, "What are you gonna do about Vivian..."

Things became awkward as James was about to answer, but was cut off by Kind Roland and Queen Miranda, Aka mum and dad, entering.

"Kids, we have news!"

We all jumped at the sudden shout from dad as it was extremely loud, but soon settled down. I stared at James, giving him a "Tell me later" look as dad announced the news.

"Since tomorrow is our anniversary, "Dad stated as he made eye contact with mum, "We decided  we're going to hold a ball to celebrate 8 years of our marriage!"

Amber immediately asked, "Who are you going to invite?!" as she looked at James and I with a smirk on her face, looking as suspicious as ever.

"The kingdoms of Wei-ling, Zumaria, Corinthia, Mezbez, Tangu, Albuqueque and Freezenburg." Dad happily declared.

James and Ambers jaws dropped at the sound of Mezbez (Desmond's kingdom) and Zumaria (Vivian's kingdom).

"So all of our old classmates are going to be there?" James questioned excitingly as he realised he was going to see his old friends.

"Well most of them!" Mom answered, happy to see the joy displayed on his face as I thought: this is gonna be fun...
