CHAPTER-10: my bestfriend and my sister

ANIKA POV

I was about to run when I heard Bhaisa calling my name. I turned around but came face to face with a rock hard chest.

RAM

" I...I....I wa...was jus...just leave....leaving." I again turned around but my body when stiff when I felt two strong arms wrapped around my waist. I could feel heat rising all over my body, his warm breath touched my right ear lobe. I clenched my thighs because of the throbbing sensation I felt between my legs. I slowly moved his hand and palmed my belly.

I bit my lips to suppress any kind of moan leaving my mouth.

" I could hear your heartbeat my jaan. I know you heard our conversation but I know that was intentional. And when I've got your brother's approval to court you so why should I delay in getting the only woman I want in my life." I felt my heart racing and my breathing turned ragged. He slowly turned me to face him but I couldn't muster all the courage to looked into his eyes.

" Anika Rajput.....I know that this might not be the best proposal that you've heard and may not be the only time you'll see me trying. I want you to know that before you entered in my life I was content with the darkness that has surrounded me but when I first saw you while returning back home a warm sensation engulfed me. Initially I thought if I'd stayed away from you then it might stop but it started getting my intense and now it's getting unbearable for me to stay away from you. I don't know what this emotion is but I will wait until it gets crystal for me........and in this journey I...I need you.

Will you be my girl... girlfriend Mahi?"

I finally looked into his eyes and saw so many emotions running through his eyes. I could clearly see how vulnerable and deprived he was and how scared and doubtful he looked.

I palmed his face and pulled his face near me. I couldn't held but chuckle on this huge height difference and how easily he can squeeze me under his huge muscles.

" Ra... Ram! I..I..know how...how diff..diffi.. cult it is..for...for you. I...I..can fe..feel you...r...heart beating wi...with the spe..eed of a train. But I want  you to kn...know that I will always be there for...for you. I fell in love...love with you whe...when I first you. Call me sel.. selfish but I feel safe around you. I always believed that no matter what Ra.... Ram will always come for me. No one ever made me feel so confident of myself the way your one look did.  I don't want anything in return even...even if won't share the same feeling as I do, I will still love you. I know that my love will be enough for both of us and I won't leave you ever.

I didn't think twice before attaching my lips with his. I wasn't like the one we had earlier, this one was urgent and possessiven. We pulled from our kiss and he touched his forehead with mine. I saw his lips pulled up in a full blown smile.

Oh my heart

As we turned around to moved out, I saw my Bhaisa standing leaning on a wall with his arms crossed over his chest. He wiped a lone tear with a smile on his face. He moved towards us-

" My bestfriend and my sister. I am so grateful to God that he actually blessed you two with eachother.....you better take care of my butterfly you jerk or I won't even hesitate to chop off your head." Bhaisa said the last part with utter seriousness.

VIKRAM POV

I entered inside Rathore palace with her right hand held in my left protectively. As soon as we moved towards dinning area, I heard so many gasps.

" Ye mai kya dekh raha hun"
" Ye kab hua?"
" Vikram bhaiya gay nhi hai!"

All three of my siblings said togather, Maa hit them on their head.

I couldn't help the warmth rushing on my cheeks and neck and I rubbed the back of my head nervously. I glanced beside me and saw Mahi looking shy.

I cleared my throat- " everyone I would like you all to meet my girl Anika Rajput. I know you all know her but I thought a formal introduction will be a good start."

I moved toward maa sa and held her hand.

" Maa, aap khush ho na? Aapko koi objection toh nhi hai?" I can't go against her even if it means me staying under my darkness forever.

" Mujhe se zada khush koi nhi hoga Vikram. Maine tujhe kabhi itna muskurate nhi dekha jitna Maine pichle kuch dino mein dekha hai. Mujhe pta tha ki Nika woh kar dikhayegi Jo koi nhi kar paya. Maine tere liye usko aankhon mein jo pyaar dekha hai woh bahat sacha hai." Maa moved towards Mahi and kept her hand on her head.

" Khoob khush raho bache. Mujhe pta hai tum Vikram ko bacha logi aur mai ye bhi janti hun ki woh tumhare liye poori duniya se ladne ke liye taiyaar hai lekin kabhi tumhe hurt nhi karega. Bas uska saath kabhi mat chorna."

We all were having ready to serve dinner when I heard a sickly sweet voice that makes me uncomfortable.

" Hello everyone, mind if I join all of you ?"

" Oh come on VIDHI....you don't have to be so formal beta" Maa has always been too kind.

Vidhi is a trained assassin working under mrityunjay. She is really very skilled and did her job with dedication but only thing that bothers me is her constant confession of her feelings towards me. I've made everything clear to her and everyone knows about my disinterest in relationship before My Mahi. Even I've seen Amogh warning her and how Aarman dislike towards her but she is still working with us due to obvious reasons.

I looked at Mahi who was about to sit beside me but Vidhi beat her in that and settle herself at that chair.

' Hey Vikram, I've seen you at company this morning. I was missing you.' she tried to touch my hand being to friendly.

I stood up from my place and walked towards kitchen. I held Mahi's hand and pulled her towards dinner table. I made her settle down at one of the two empty chairs and sat beside her at the other one.

I saw Mahi looking at me with surprise and confusion.

' I'm hungry bacha, won't you serve me.' she just nodded her head and filled my plate and was about to place rice on her but I stopped her and forwarded first morsel towards her.

' Ra... Ram '

' shhh....eat beta'

She blushed which made me feel warm and calm but open her mouth none the less. I could feel everyone's attention on us but do I care.....NAH

' what are you all looking at, I am making my girlfriend eat as I know she must be hungry by now.' I heard few chuckles and everyone started eating.

But they didn't know that this dinner will change a lot of things in life of three individual.
