Pre-wedding Rituals!

Ishika was surrounded by her family telling her to change her decision. Her head started roaming as she crouched down covering her ear and closing her eyes. Anjali held her and Ishika looked at her.

" I want to marry him." Ishika said and Anjali nodded.

" Let's go to your room." Anjali cooed to her.

" Anjali..." Alishka said stern.

" Will you all stop it now? You are scaring her. Let her calm down a bit. Can't you see her head is aching? She is breathing heavily. She is feeling suffocated." Anjali raised her voice and caressed Ishika's hair.

" This fear is much better than lifelong darkness." Ronak said and pulled her up by grabbing her arm.

Her head started spinning and she fainted. Naksh called doctor and Ronak took her upstairs. Alishka sat beside her.

" Was I too harsh?" Alishka mumbled.

" Calm down, Alishka." Naksh squeezed her shoulder.

Soon doctor checked her and wrote a prescription.

" She is malnourished and stressed. Please make sure she doesn't takes stress. She is weak." Doctor said and left.

" Do we have to comply?" Alishka broke in tears.

" Aunt hold back yourself. You have to be strong." Aniket said patting her shoulder.

He went to Anjali who was looking at Ishika's sleeping figure blankly. He took her out and took her in her room. A tear slipped her eyes. He engulfed her in his arms weaving his hand inside her hair comforting her.

" Calm down, babygirl. She will be alright." He cooed to her.

" How? Only if I could have got to her before.... I don't know what sin did she commit to be this sad. She doesn't deserve it. I am mischievous, strong-headed, rude, stubborn but her she is so kind, pure- hearted. Why her?" Anjali hugged him tightly as his hug soothed her.

" Time is not same, Anjali. Enzo does loves her. He won't harm her but I understand your concern too. Don't stress. Let's wait for Ishika and we are always here for her. If he makes her cry then her one word and you know your brother, right? He is very possessive and protective towards his sisters. He will never let any harm come by her way. And your sister is not someone to be messed with too. You know when you got abducted she turned whole house upside down. She must be calm but she is strong too." Aniket caressed her back making circles to calm her.

After few minutes she parted and went to see Ishika. She saw movement in Ishika and sat beside her. Ishika hugged her.

" Does your head hurts too much?" Anjali caressed her back gently and she shook her head as no.

" I am fine." Ishika smiled at her.

" I am so sorry. I am ruining your wedding." Ishika pouted.

" No. You're not. Actually I would love to see your wedding before me." Anjali smiled.

" Call that Enzo. Let's talk about marriage." Naksh said and patted Ishika's head.

" Thank you dad." Ishika smiled widely and he nodded walking out.

Ronak felt so helpless. He followed his father.

" Why did you agreed, dad?" Ronak asked.

" In front of a daughter, a dad is always helpless. And you really think I will let him take my princess away without testing him?" Naksh smirked and Ronak smiled.

" What do I need to do?" Ronak said with a sly smirk.

" Involve me in." Aniket said from behind.

" Sure why not?" Naksh waved at him.
