Enzo sighed as it was too late. She must have slept. He thought looking at the frame in front of his desk. It was their wedding photo.
“ My mischievous wife. When will you accept me?” He mumbled tracing it and kissed the photo.
“ I hope you didn’t threw any tantrums, caro. Tomorrow is pagphere. I remember. I wonder will you remind me that… Maybe not.” He sadly smiled going out.
He went home and saw her sleeping on sofa uncomfortably. He frowned. Was she waiting for me? He thought and unlocked his phone. There was 1 missed call of hers. He smiled. She was waiting for me. He giggled but covered his mouth thinking he may wake her up. He walked to her and crouched down. He saw tear stains on her cheeks.
“ Were you missing your parents, caro?” He gently brushed her cheek.
He noticed she was wearing nuptial chain and even applied vermilion. He blushed but his smile vanished as he saw she was not wearing the pendant. He sighed. ‘ Not a good progress yet. I can wait.’ He thought nodding. She moved opening her eyes and he stiffened. She sat up a little rubbing her eyes and her lips a bit pouty. He bit his lip smiling.
“ Were you waiting for me, caro?” He asked softly and to his surprise she nodded as he smiled widely.
She shook her head then realising stood up. He chuckled softly at it finding it cute.
“ Still, why so late? It’s 4am. Is this time to come home?” She said meekly not looking at him and he made her look at him.
“ Mere paas dekhke boliye na. Acha lagta hai.” He smiled and she moved her face walking upstairs. ( Look at me then ask. It sounds better like that.)
He chuckled moving to another room. She sat on bed but he didn’t came to room. I guess I don’t have to share room with him. She thought again drifting to sleep. He woke her up himself when the clock striked 8 am. He gently caressed her hair. She opened her eyes and saw him ready.
“ Are you going to work?” She asked and he shook his head.
“ Then?” She asked.
“ I thought you will remind me but here you forgot yourself.” He shook his head in disbelief and she frowned.
“ Pagphere.” He exclaimed and she jumped on bed surprised. She totally forgot.
He chuckled as she rushed to bathroom. He moved downstairs and waited for her. After an hour he saw her coming down wearing purple saree her mother gifted her.

His jaw dropped. She looked so stunning. She snapped her fingers and his ears turned red. She smiled finding it cute.
“ L-Let’s g-go.” He stammered.
He drove her to her parents house and they welcomed him too along. He was happy when Alishka called him her son and scolded Ronak to not play any prank. Anjali took her upstairs while Alishka served Enzo making Ishika giggle. Anjali took her to her room and made her sit on bed.
