"Well?" asked Serpent. I thought about it. Then, I realized-if he could heal, so could I.

"No," I responded.

"What?" he asked. I smirked. "Don't you want to save him?" Serpent asked.

"Yeah, but if you can heal, so can I," I responded. Serpent clenched his fists. Then, all my tears started to glow with a golden light.

"No!" cried Serpent. The tears turned into a gold dust, and it circled around Daniel. He floated up a few inches, and the dust seemed to go into his chest and disappear. Daniel groaned. Serpent tackled me, and I landed on my back in the sand. I kicked him, and he must of been weak from our earlier battle because he backed up. I stood up, and Serpent made fists again.

He charged for me, but I ducked down so his punch missed. He tried to tackle me, but I managed to do a flip so he missed. He hit the sand and grabbed my ankle. I tried to get it free, but his grip was too strong. "Stay strong, Rose!" shouted Daniel.

"Go Rose! Go Rose!" screamed a bunch of other people.

"If anybody gets close, I will end her life!" hissed Serpent. I saw that the people had been trying to get closer. Serpent tried to pull me closer, but I got free and stood up. Serpent got up. I ran towards a bunch of rocks, but Serpent pushed me over so he could reach me. I was weak, but so was he. Then, I remembered something from that camp.

-Flashback-
Dylan and I had to race each other in a swimming race. We were getting ready to dive in. The camp counselor said go and we both dive in. I swam as fast as I could, and Dylan was right next to me. If I won the race, my team would get pizza, but if Dylan won, his team would get pizza. I swam harder, but we were still neck and neck. At ten last few yards, I managed to get ahead of him. My team was screaming. Loud. I passed the finish line. I popped my head out of the water. I saw my team high-fiving each other. When I was out of the lake, my team hugged me, not caring that I was wet. I smiled.

-End of Flashback-

Serpent wasn't going to beat me. He pulled me up by my arm again and starting pulling me towards the water. I leaned back so it was harder for him. He still pulled me. I fought him with everything I had. He soon was standing in the water. I then had an idea. I got free from his grip and grabbed his wrists. I knew the remote was still in his pocket from earlier. "What are you doing?" he asked. I smirked. Serpent tried to get away, but I wouldn't let him. I put my plan into action. I kicked the remote and the shocking began.
