The bracelets were shocking us. Since I broke the remote, I knew it wouldn't stop. I was in so much pain, I had one eye open and one eyes closed. Serpent did too. We couldn't move. Daniel came up with a rock and hit hard on the bracelets. The cracked and broke. Serpent and I collapsed on the sand. I heard the sounds of sirens as my consciousness drifted away from me.

I woke up in a hospital. I groaned. My body ached. I saw the arm Serpent grabbed was in a caste and I was covered in bandaids. I looked around. Daniel was next to me. "You saved us," he said. I smiled. "Hey, do you remember that camp we went to?" he asked. I nodded. "I just remembered it," he admitted.

"Me too," I said, but it sounded like I said, "Meh toot." Daniel chuckled.

"The doctors said you might not be able to talk clearly for awhile," he told me. I smiled. "Serpent is in jail," Daniel told me, "and you've been declared a hero." My eyes must have been huge because Daniel laughed. "You even have a super hero name, but I think it could of been better," Daniel told me. He handed me a newspaper. On the front page was a picture of Serpent and I getting shocked.

As I read, I found out that those fishermen were actually police trying to stop some criminal on a boat. The place where we battled was actually a spot someone claimed to see a sea serpent years ago. Police said that they must have seen Serpent because when Daniel told them that I was transformed recently, they knew it couldn't be me. The police said that if I would of lost to Serpent, he would probably try to rule the world. They actually found out Serpent has mental issues. I giggled when I saw this. Here's the one thing I found interesting-they called me Chain. I looked up at Daniel. "You want to know why they call you that, right?" asked Daniel. I nodded. "Well, look around your neck," Daniel said. I looked around my neck to find a chain necklace around it. It had a coin shaped peace of metal on it that read, "Chained".

My heart pounded. I was a hero. I decided to read more. I learned that the police thought I was born for this. They ended up searching Serpent's lab. They found his dairy. He said that he thought I was beautiful and that I wouldn't be with him unless I was forced into it. I smiled. "Fool," I mumbled. It sounded like I said "Foot" with the o's sounding funny.

"What?" asked Daniel. I took a pen off the table and wrote what I was tried to say on the corner of the newspaper. "Oh," said Daniel. He chuckled. "I thought the same thing," he told me. He took my hands. "Thanks for saving me," he said. I nodded. "Chain," he added. I looked at my necklace.

"Chained," I tried to say.
