Y  EYES FLUTTER OPEN, meeting with the bright light on the ceiling blinding me— making me close my eyes for a second. I remember blacking out but I couldn't make out the reason why.

“Thank the gods, you're okay.” Annabeth spoke, her voice filled with relief as she sighed.

“What the hell happened?” I asked, forcing my body to sit up while holding my head as it aches.

Silence filled the air surrounding us, while I looked around, waited for someone to answer. I looked around to see Grover sitting on the opposite side of where Annabeth was, while Percy was leaning his body weight to the wall.

“You seriously don't remember?” Grover started.

“I-.. Uhm.. No?” I stuttered, utterly confused.

“You were calling for Thalia. Walked out the deck onto the lake. But I stopped you, and before I could even ask—you passed out.” Percy explained, his tone seemed forced.

“Thank you for the quick explanation, Percy.” I commented, my tone obviously sarcastic.

“Now, seriously guys, give me a real explanation.” I added, my expression changed as my tone went serious, averting my gaze at both Annabeth and Grover.

Both of them looked at me, their expressions somewhat sad. Percy left his last spot to approach me, he looked at me like he was actually telling the truth.

He actually was, it's such a shocker for me.

“Look I don't have time with your crap, Chiron told me to tell you what happened and follow him upstairs.” Percy's tone felt threating but I wasn't scared, while the duo right beside me were in shock.
