Don't Know You Anymore

We used to be close
But people can go from
People you know
To people you don{t

It's the weirdest thing
I still know
Your favorite song
Was Grace Vanderwaal
(Editer's note I actually quite love her songs u should listen)
And we used to sing it together
On the school bus home
We'd dance in the house
On nights home alone
But now I don't remember the lyrics

I still remember
Your sibling's names
Jacob and Annalise
Used to hang around us
When we'd go to your house
They'd chase us around
And we'd run
Side by side
But I don't come over now
And I haven't seen them
In a couple months
Since we fell out

I know
Your favorite ice cream
Chocolate chip cookie dough
And you'd only have it in a waffle cone
But eat it out with a spoon
And have the cone at the end
On it's own
But I don't know what it is anymore
I see you out with your friends
Sitting at our old table by the window
The only red chair
Unlike all the teals
Eating a flavor we always made fun of
And never tried

I still know
Your weird dreams
The ones you texted me about at 2am
When you couldn't sleep
And I stayed up with you
You talked about
The short giraffes
And circle rainbows as tires
Falling into the jungle
But now sometimes I wonder
Late at night
When I get up cause I can't sleep
What you dream about now
It could be about so many things
And I can wonder
And I probably will
But I will never know

I still watch
Our TV shows
The ones we'd watch
Til early in the morning
When our parents would go to bed
Cause they can't deal with us
And I'll think of things
To say to you
About the new plot
But you're not by my side
Anymore

I learned all these details about you
And now you're gone
Some of those things have changed,
Some of them haven't
But you're gone.
And you always will.
So I guess I'll know you again.
