In the world we live in today
Everybody has an opinion
About how they think the world should be
Everybody thinks children can't do anything big
They all say we're so useless
That we should leave everything to the adults
Like they know everything about the world
And sure, they know more than we do
But we've got some great ideas
Nobody's willing to listen to
Everybody says it'll never work
Everybody says it's impossible
Everybody says that I could never change the world
Since it's such a big place
And I'm just a kid
With a wild idea
Yeah everybody says I need to follow the rules
But I have the spirit to try
So I'll fight for it
Everybody says it doesn't matter what I think I can do
I need to be silent and stay in my place
But I only care about what I say
There's so many things about our world
I ish I could change
So I'm gonna try
I wanna make it a better place
And when you're just a little kid
They say to follow your dreams
Maybe someday you'll change the world
But they don't really mean that
Yeah they don't really mean that
