Let's skip the food part. I don't even get why Hawks was talking about food all of the sudden. He made it even sound as if it was more than heavenly. It was jut food. There was definitely no need to over exaggerate it. For me it tasted good but Hawks looked as if he was in heaven. I really didn't get him sometimes. Maybe it also just his way to get off topic and talk about something else instead of my neck.... or the injury... or how things went afterwards. I could see his eyes go to my neck every now and then. There was no mirror in the room to see it at all but there was no way there wouldn't be a scar left.

Hawks: Wanna get out of this hospital?

Me: Can I?

Hawks: Yeah.....

Me: So I can't?

Hawks: Well.... they want to have you here for more observation... 

Me: Is this why you went out after the meal?

Hawks: Yes but it should be okay to get you out for the day and return you in the evening. If you want that, we can have a small trip tomorrow.

Me: Ah... I see.

Hawks: Hm? What's wrong?

Me: Nothing.

Hawks: So you wanna go out tomorrow?

Me: Sounds alright.

Hawks: Oh did ever go bowling?

Me: No.

Hawks: How about that indoor water park?

Me: No...

Hawks: Billiard?

Me: Never played that.

Hawks: Amusement park?

Me: Neither was there.

Hawks: Okay how about the sea.

Me: Been there.

Hawks: Ah that's a no good. Alright, noted.

I didn't say anything different than how I said the other words. Not only that but I also didn't really change my facial expression at all. So how in the world did he know that I didn't like the beach. The story behind it was quite easy. All Might made me clean the beach with my bare hands and that wasn't that easy. He made me pull a car out of the ocean by myself. He sat on a fridge and made me pull it as well. I went barefoot sometimes because my shoes just couldn't handle all the sand and the heavy duty that they got destroyed. It was one of the worst days I had. Not only made that incident make me regret everything and look back at the day I took his quirk but it also made me curse and hate my life at that moment. It was hot, my favorite shoes got destroyed and I had a lot of shards to pick from my feets. I got cuts and bruises and my body was aching all over the place as well.

Hate that place.

With passion.

Still it surprised me that Hawks managed to pick up on that. There was no way he knew that I hated it or why I hated it.

Me: How did you.......

Hawks: I just know... you don't have to pretend around me. I won't ever do something you hate. I promise you that.

Me: Whatever.

Hawks: So for tomorrow, let's go bowling. The day after that I'll take you out to see a bit of the city. 

Me: You know I live in this city.

Hawks: But you never went touristing around did ya?

Me: No.... why should I?

Hawks: Because we also have good places to visit and enjoy!

He definitely seemed to have planned some stuff around which made me think that he thought a lot about this. That again, made me start to think that he definitely had something in store for me. I couldn't bring myself to say no and disappoint another person. 

Me: Alright, then let's do as you say.

Hawks: Trust me! You'll love it!

Me: Okay.

Hawks: Now question is... what we gonna do now?

Me: ....

Hawks: Hm? What is it?

Me: nothing.

Hawks: You wanna ask me something. I can see it in your eyes.

Me: I don't.

Hawks: Don't be scared, I don't bite and I promise I won't be angry.

Me: You sure, it is kinda a dumb question.

Hawks: There is no dumb question just dumb answers.

Me: Alright, then.... How do you have this much free time? You are the number 3 hero. How can you spend this much time with me? And why me?

Sometimes some questions are better not asked. I know this but this one was on my mind for a bit and I couldn't help it. No matter how much I was thinking about it, I couldn't find an answer at all. He did say something about he could related and he was there at such a low point and all but I don't know... by now it felt like there was more to it.

Hawks: I took some Vacation. I never did before which is why everyone was glad when I announced I'll go on vacation so this should solve the time question as for why you.... Izu, I told ya already, I was there once and I would have wanted someone, no I wished there was someone there for me. You are in an even worse spot and I just want to be there for you, ready to grab your hand whenever you extend and ask for help. 

Me: ..... I see....

I couldn't say more to this than that. It still didn't make sense to me but at this point I knew I wouldn't get a different answer. Besides I already decided to make this bird happy and try his way out. At least I tried it, right? I am not someone who throws in the towel that easily.... I never was... but things are just looking hopeless and it feels as if I was wasting everything. Maybe this was not the right thing to do but with how much Hawks saved me, I just had to to give it a try.
