After years of playing football awfully, adrien has finally gottten into the football team.
Well, nino forced him – but those were 'uninteresting details to ignore' as his best friend said.
Ninos dad told him to join a sport team, and he just had to drag adrien into it.
To top it off, tomorrow was their big game, and the whole school was going to watch.
Something that startled adrien everytime he thought about it, was the fact that he was an important player. A few years ago he didn't even managed to get the rules inside his head.
Well yes, it was his last year of high school. Most of the boys were in a sport team, but adrien never considered joining one. He had his hands full with modeling..but now that he quit that, he had no excuse left.
And, come on, how bad can it be...

"So adrien, nino today's the big game huh?" alix teased the boys as adrien rolled his eyes annoyed, making marinette who was sitting across him on the cafeteria table smile.
"Oh come on adrien don't make that face! Don't worry, you're not that bad" nino patted his back.
Adrien took a big bite of his sandwich and muttered "Gee, thanks nino"
Marinette and alya exchanged a look and marinette laughed.
At that moment adrien glanced over to his girlfriend "What are you laughing at?"
Marinette giggled "It's funny watching you getting all worked up" then her voice calmed "But ninos right adrien, it's summer, it's your last game, and your not a bad player."
Adrien sighed. He hoped it would just come and go as fastly as it could.

The football team where in their changing room, moments away from stepping into the big field.
Nervousity was filled in the room, adrien shaking his leg uncontrollably.
He then drank one last sip out of his water bottle as it was announced it was time to start the game.
As his teammates were marching outside him and nino exchanged words one last time.
"I believe in you bud. Good luck out there" he offered adrien a fist and he smiled as they fist bumped each other.
"Me too, nino. Good luck"
– minute 14 –
'This is not a drill but the model adrien agreste just shot the first goal for our team, good job model boy..' the moderators voice trailed off as adrien was in utter shook and hugging and cheering with his mates.
He glanced over to the spot marinette was sitting in and grinned.
'Love you' he mouthed as he got back in the game, not able to see marinettes smile.
She laughed and sighed as she sat down again. She was so happy adrien managed to goal – she jumped up.
"Girl, calm down, who would have known you're this invested in soccer" alya chuckled.
Marinette didn't even look at her, her eyes focused on the game. Alya just rolled her eyes and got back to the game.
Over time, with every passing goal, mistake, red or yellow card, marinette tensed up, cheered, got nervous and happy. It was truly a great game, and she was really invested to it.
Okay, maybe the fact that adrien was playing and he was a total amusing player, was a big bonus,
buuut she was also happy for her school being more forward.
– final minute –
The tension was big.
Adrien has to throw the ball to the opposite sides goal.
Their team needed 1 last goal to get 3:1 for them.
3:1....
And in the blink of an eye...
Adrien did it....
Everything around marinette became quite even though it bursted out into all different kinds of emotions.
She could feel how her bestfriend was shaking her, but it really felt like a slowmotion scene.
Her eyes were fixated on her boyfriend who was incredibly happy.
She couldn't help but smile.
"Adrien did it..." she breathed out.
Alya arched her brows "Yeah, 30 seconds ago."
Marinettes head snapped to alya "He did it!!"
She cheered and ran off backstage to meet adrien as she could hear her friends voice telling her to stop behind her.
When she arrived she looked around.
Is he still on the field?
Right when she turned around again she spotted adrien behind her and flinched.
"Adrien!" she gasped but then laughed "Adrien!" she hugged him tight as he took few steps back completely startled.
"Woah..happy to see you too marinette" he chuckled as he let go of her gently.
"Adrien..you were amazing! I-Gee adrien i.." marinette stammered completely lost for words as she gave adrien a kiss.
He slowly pulled her in and relaxed.
When they pulled away she whispered "I knew you could do it.
Just that caused him to grin again "thank you. Your support is the only one that matters"
