note :: i had to make another one of this concept because it's inspired by another fav couple of mine, just a bit edited and changed<3 (This is basically how marinette convinced her father and adriens and her future relationship, as mentioned in the end of the first part of 'the first time seeing you')
—–------–—–------–—–------–—

It was a beautiful friday. Marinette was helping her dad in the bakery and always glancing outside every second minute.

"Marinette, are you searching for something outside?" her father asked.

She nervously faced him and shook her head. "Oh n-no, not at all.."

She was lying. She was wondering if adrien was going to show up today too. Because if he was, he shouldn't be coming now, or her father would kill him.
-
On the other side, adrien was going up and down his room.

He wanted to tell his own father about marinette. Maybe he would give her some kind of advice.

Marinette kissed his cheek! And he hasn't been able to get over it ever since. She told him she would handle it, but he was an impatient person so he just couldn't help it and dialed the phone number of his dad.

It started to ring and it got picked up.

"hello adrien." his father greeted him.
He smiled. "Hey dad, I..uh..have to tell you something." he said excitedly.
"oh? then go ahead adrien, I don't have all day."
He inhaled. "You know how you're always calling me from italy ever since you left and asking me if I have a girlfriend yet? Well..I met this girl.." he stopped and sighed.
He heared his father snicker.
"Dad she's just..so..- awesome!..when i'm with her, I have this weird feeling. My hearts starts racing and I feel like I could pass out any minute.." he told his father while holding up a picture of him and marinette.

His father sighed "Finally you've found someone..So? what seems to be the problem.?"
"W-Well, her father doesn't really like me, I thought maybe you could give me some advice..Oh! maybe you-"

He got interrupted by his father. "Adrien i don't have time to bring up some plan so you can get some girl. Please handle it yourself."

"But dad, you don't get it, she's not just some girl-" he protested when suddenly the phone went off.

He sighed. It was a bad idea to begin with.
-
In the bakery, marinette was struggling to find a good time to talk with her father about adrien.

In the last few weeks of him repeatedly showing up at the bakery, marinette developed feelings for him, but at first she was a bit hesitant.

But she really does like adrien. He's funny, caring and never afraid to speak up about his feelings.

She's never met anyone like him, and she didn't get why her dad wouldn't get that.

Of course, she knew her dad was overprotective and that he actually just is nervous about her being with a guy, because he's scared she'll get hurt.

But marinette knew that would never happen. Or atleast she thinks it won't. And adrien isn't just a guy, he's the guy.

"Dad, can I talk to you for a moment?" marinette asked hesitantly.

Her dad, who was typing something into the register nodded "Sure."

"Y-You know how, there's this guy, ninos friend, adrien who always comes to the bakery and you scare him away." she fidgeted with her fingers.

His dad faced her, angrily. "Not that guy again.."

"D-Dad just listen, he's not what you think he is. He's..sweet and nice..and..I think he really loves me.." she said getting lost in her thoughts as her dad snapped her back into existence.

"Why do you suddenly care so much about boys marinette..." he facepalmed.

She put a hand on her father's arm. "Dad, I think, If you would just see that, he's a really good person, you'll like him too! Maybe he can come over sometime without you scaring him away?"

She smiled hoping for the right answer.

Please say yes please say yes please say yes..

Marinette crossed her fingers and squeezed her eyes.

"Fine. Let that boy explain himself..But not today, I have to go buy some groceries..Take care sweetheart." He smiled and grabbed his keys.

Marinette waved smiling widely. "Thanks dad, You won't regret it!" she shouted before he left.

She couldn't believe it..

Adrien was going to be in her house..meeting her mom, trying to sort things out with her father.

She sighed as she heared the door open.

She turned to face the guest as her eyes widened with suprise.

"Adrien! Perfect timing, I have to tell you something!" she greeted him excitedly, making his disappointed face smile a bit.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

He sighed. "No..not really.." he took a seat.

Marinette frowned and sat next to him.

"What's wrong?" she asked a bit more worried.

"I uh..talked to my father. You know I thought that it would be more useful if I try to get an advice from my dad, but I should have known better.." he sighed.

The girls face saddened.

"You know, it feels like there is zero progress. My dad never gets me, I don't know who to ask advice from...and i can't get near you. I can't be with you.." he looked at her hurt.

Marinette smiled and put her hand over his, making adriens eyes go wide as he faced her.

"I talked to my dad. Don't worry adrien. Everything's going to be okay!"

He blinked gulping. It was the first time he ever got to hold her hand, and now he never wants to let go again.

"You're so amazing.." he sighed and then shook his hand "I uh..I mean it's amazing how you handle things!"

She laughed. "You're so funny"

His eyes sparkled. "You think?"

She nodded but then started blushing. "You told your dad..about me?"

He nodded and started smiling. "I only tell my dad about special things. Guess this one beats everything.."

She smiled and admired him. "You're so sweet, adrien. Will you come over this weekend do you have time?"

He shrugged. "For you? Always."

She snickered and leaned in for a little kiss on his cheek, as her father entered the bakery.

They both stood up and looked at each other nervously as marinettes father looked extremely mad.

"If he's going to kill me, I just wanted to let you know I love y-" adrien whispered as he got interrupted.

"So, blondie." marinettes father clapped his hands and put one on his shoulder dragging him a bit closer.

"If you don't show up and do your best at the following dinner, that will make marinette upset, and if you ever make her upset, I make sure she'll delete you of her memory for the rest of her life." he whispered and adriens face went a bit pale as he nodded.

Her dad let go of him and marinette stood between them.

"Can I go on a walk with adrien? Promise i'll be careful" she asked.

Adrien faced her with a smile as they were allowed to go. They both stepped outside and went they walked a few steps away, marinette grabbed adriens hand and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"There." she giggled leaving him dumbfounded and smiling.

They were both walking. Together. Even though his father didn't put much interest in marinette adrien had all his attention and all his interest invested in her, and it would never stop.
