"Hey, thanks for today. It was fun." I smiled softly, trying to hide the lie behind it. All they did was gossip and talk shit the whole time.
Heeseung smiles back, "No problem. We're your friends, you should have fun." He nudges my shoulder, chuckling.

As we approach my house, I pull out my wallet and give him 10 dollars... To repay for buying my coffee. "Here. For the coffee."
He slowly pushes away my hand, smirking. "Keep it. You're the new student, you shouldn't be paying me back."
I stare at him dumbfoundingly, eyes widened and mouth slightly agape. "Oh... Well, thank you."
"Don't sweat it. Well, I'll see you tomorrow!" He exclaims and waves before walking out, shoving his hands into his pockets.

I woke up extra late, to the point where I missed the bus. But at least I made it.
As I was unlocking my locker, I noticed something peeking out. I opened the door and caught it before it could hit the ground. It was a letter.
I opened it and started reading.

"What the hell? It's only my third day and I'm already getting love notes?" I mumble, shoving it into my backpack. "It's cute... but corny."
I walk through the crowded halls of the school, talking filling the air. I spotted a couple of people looking at me with weird looks, but I could care less.
I approached the friend group and waved, "Hey guys. How are you?"
"Eh. I'm extra tired today." Ni-ki shrugs, "I guess I didn't get enough sleep. Happens all the time." He joked, a scoff leaving his lips before turning to Sunghoon. "What's up with him?"
"Sunoo's sick today so he's going insane." Jungwon recalled, "Where's Jay? He said he'll be here today."
"How the fuck am I supposed to know?" Ni-ki scowls.
As they were arguing, Heeseung and Jay walk towards us. "Hey, hey. What's going on here?" Jay asks, hugging Jungwon tightly.
"Nothing." He mumbles into Jay's chest. "Can you walk me to class?"
