chapter 18

Dan's POV

Not long after ,the dinner arrived,
The salad looked great it had tons of colours,wow Dan you sound like a food critic.

Phil had the same but it looked better .shut up Dan .

"So!" I say eagerly "how's the salad?"
I couldn't of asked at a worse time, Phil had a mouthfull of salad and I had to wait until he swallowed it so he could answer. He finally does
"Oh its great ,and yours?"
"The same "
Phil's was almost done ,I wasn't even half way , he eats so fast ,then there's me . how can he think this date is going well to me its all going wrong.
"Done" Phil says while swallowing his last bite "that was amazing I never knew heathly food could taste so nice"
I breath a laugh , he was funny .
"Ye I'm full so I won't finish mine"
Phil tries to make a pouty face but keeps laughing," but ddaan that means no dessert"
I forgot about that " oh yes?" I say excitedly "Im no longer full and.I really really want pudding"
Phil found that hilarious
The waitress came over to get our plates
"Amazing , thanks " said Phil
"Yes it was , oh and do you mind getting that thing for me" I put quotation marks on the words that thing so Phil's became curious ,
The woman nodded and walked off
"So Dan what's that thing you were in about ?"
"You wait and see Phillip" I said that in such a creepy voice I even scared myself

*5 minutes later*

Phil's POV

The woman came back with a silver tray and a lid on it I was so curious as to what it was, Dan wouldn't tell me

She placed the tray carefully on the centre of the table and took off the lid "enjoy" she said in a sweet voice
It was a heart shaped red velvet cake with icing covering the top
It was decorated with edible flowers spelling out D.H then a heart, then underneath it said P.L .
Dan came over and sat by me "its a cake I asked them to make to show that I love you"
I was so surprised
"Dan i-i love it , its beautiful "
"Glad you like it ,want a slice?"
I didn't even hesitate "yes please!"
Dan slides himself over to his seat and begins to cut me a slice of cake ," I'm giving you the d.h and I'm getting p.l "he says " so we can have each other "
"Dan that's so cute"
He hands me the cake ,it tasted like heaven I loved it .
"Dan how could this date get any better ?"
"Well there is still the secret after date" I was so excited "oh my god I can't wait " Dan quickly says "if you finish your slice we can go "
"What about the rest if the cake?"
I only asked because I loved it
"I'll ask if we can take it out "
That was such a good thing to hear.

We eventually finish and Dan pays the bill
"Ready to get out of here ?" He said
"I'm so ready" I reply
Dan grabs my hand and holds it we walked out to where the taxi was meant to be , but it wasn't a taxi it was like one of those old fashioned horse pulled carriages some people have for weddings it was so cute the man controlling the horses came towards us "would you like to step on my carriage and take a trip with this man here" he gestures Dan
"I would love to "
Dan ,still holding my hand takes me to the carriage and helps me up , the nice thing about this carriage is you can look around and see everything instead of those fairytale carriages where you can't
Dan was still nervous I could tell "so Dan where are we off to?" I really wanted to know
Dan smirks kisses my cheek and looks at my
"We are off to have the best time ever"
I lean over and put my head on his shoulder ,he wraps his arms around me and rests his head on mine and we just sat there as the carriage moved along the road to take us to have a great time .
