I looked at the two tiny children, "I didn't know you had a brother. That's so cool! I wish I had a big brother!"

"He is my sidekick. You can have him." Damian tried to convince him while I glared.

I put on a pair of sunglasses, "Okay bye, go do whatever you do and I'll wait here." I turn the other way, and a small hand tugs the back of my shirt.

"My mom says I have to be watched at all times." Super Junior reminded me. "Hey Dami didn't you wanna go to that new ice cream Place-"

"Oh no," I leaned my back against the wall ignoring them, "I'm not buying you two anything."

"Father said I'm not allowed to have ice cream until after dinner." He shrugs.

The mini Kent nodded, "Hey, that's what my dad says too!"

I looked down at them, raising a brow, "Whoa whoa whoa, hold on. So you're telling me you two have never had ice cream during the day? Like never?"

"Of course not Todd, I always listen." Damian scoffs with folded arms.

"Uh-uh," Super dork adds.

I smirked, "Well how would you two like to break the rules? I'm feeling awfully generous today."

"WOW! Come on Dami!" The super kid jumped up and down, Damian didn't budge.

"Are you gonna do everything daddy tells you? Well?" I taunted him.

He pushed past me, "Tsk, let's go, Jon,"

"Jon huh?" I repeated to myself and followed them down the road.

I handed Damian and Jon their ice creams, "MHM!" Jon squeaked, "This is so good! How is yours?" He looked at Damian.

"It passes as edible,"

I shoved him, "What stick is up your ass? You know you can enjoy life right?"

He rolled his eyes. An annoying dinging clanked around me, I looked down at the backpacks they both wore. Jon had a childish Superman backpack and Damian wore a plain black one. I pulled on the handles and stopped them, "What are you two carrying around backpacks for? This is Gotham," I sighed looking Damian up and down, "You already look preppy in your button-up and pants and you look like an easy target. Now shoo shoo, go do whatever it is kids do nowadays." They both took their ice creams and headed towards the park. "He's such a pain in the ass." I pitied myself.

I lit a cigarette and sat at a table outside the shops. I kicked my feet up and pulled my hat down. Resources? What does that even mean? I puffed out smoke and watched it disappear. A Best Buy was in front of me, "I am not behind," I argued to myself remembering what Tim had said to me. I looked away and put the roll up to my lips, I glanced at the store again, "Dammit." I tossed my cigarette on the floor and walked towards the store. The doors automatically opened catching me off guard. I walked in and was overloaded with TVs, computers, phones, gaming consoles and so much more. I carefully inspected each station of technology. Man, I really am behind. "WHAT!" I yelled, and a woman behind me jumped, "Sorry, I just uh I've never seen something like this before." She grabbed her kid and quickly switched aisles.

"Can I help you sir?" A man in a blue polo approached me.

Well, I already look stupid so what's asking a dumb question, "Is this real?" I pointed at the phone.

"Yes sir, would you like to see it?"

"Yeah," He unhooked it from the cable.

"Here you go, it's the iPhone Flip 14 let me know if you have any questions. I'll just be on aisle nine." I looked down at the phone. I carefully put my other hand on the other side and slowly shut it. The picture popped up on the front, I gasped amazed I opened it and flipped it again. I needed to buy a new phone since I kind of ran over my other one. Man, I really didn't think that through...
