Rayna Vallandingham is 21 and Jay Ellis is 42. As I mentioned in my Mickey "Fanboy" Garcia fic, I'm very much against age gaps like this because it gives me the ick. (It's just too many years, Jay is literally TWICE her age.) However Rayna is a certified badass and quite literally PERFECT to portray Jia. That being said, I am aging her up and Jay down for this fic. We never actually get confirmation of anyone's age in Maverick, so I'm saying that Jia and Reuben are like 29ish. Just keep that in mind as you read.
ALSO! We are going to ignore the fact that Manny Jacinto was actually IN TG:M for a brief moment. He was actually playing Fritz, one of the aviators named at Hard Deck. But since that's basically the only screen time he had, I'm using him. (I had decided this before his interviews and comments about lines being cut came out.)
And yes, this entire decision is based on The Acolyte because Manny is literally the best thing about that show and I'm a slut for men with good arms.
FINAL ALSO! My OCs are stunt people! So there will be mentions of various movies and TV shows that they have worked on. Chances of spoilers are slim, but not zero.
