National City, a vibrant and bustling version of metropolis, without its statue of course. The city is bathed in the soft glow of twilight. The skyline is dotted with towering buildings, their windows reflecting the last few rays of the setting sun. Amidst the urban sprawl, a cozy, inviting building stands out as a beacon of warmth, hope, and comfort. Inside the building lies the Danvers' apartment, which belong to the city's own heroine; Kara Danvers.

Inside Kara Danvers' place, the atmosphere is lively and cheerful. The living room is spacious and well-lit, with comfortable furniture arranged around a central coffee table. Family photos and superhero memorabilia adorn the walls, adding a personal touch to the space.

Kara and Alex -Kara's sister- are hosting a game night, with Nia -Her best friend- and Brainy -Nia's boyfriend and integral member of Team Kara- as their guests. Laughter fills the room as they play charades, each team taking turns to act out and guess phrases.

Kara gestures wildly, trying to convey her clue to Alex. "Come on, Alex! You can do it!"

Alex squints, trying to guess. "Flying? No, wait... a bird? A plane? Is that Superman?"

Nia chuckles at the reference, nudging Brainy. Brainy, deep in thought, speaks up.

"I believe the correct interpretation of Kara's gestures would suggest a plane. Am I correct?"

Kara nods enthusiastically. "Yes! Finally!"

"But I said plane." Alex frowned.

"You questioned plane, then asked if it was Superman, nullifying your previous suggestion." Brainy replied.

Nia rolls her eyes, clearly frustrated. "Brainy, you need to loosen up a bit. It's just a game."

Brainy looks at her, puzzled. "But Nia, I am trying my best to follow the rules and interpret the clues accurately."

Kara, sensing the tension, tries to lighten the mood. "You know, Nia and Lightning were undefeated as a team. They had this incredible synergy."

Alex shot Kara a look almost as if to say that was a terrible topic to bring up.

Nia's eyes however, lit up. "Yeah, Lightning and I were unstoppable. He always knew exactly what I was thinking."

Brainy shifts uncomfortably. "I'm sure we can develop that level of understanding too, Nia."

Alex notices the tension and attempts to shift the conversation.

"So, when was the last time everyone saw Lightning? Surely it's been a while for everyone, I haven't even heard of him visiting National City in about a year."

Kara leans back, thinking. "Yeah sounds about right, It's been about a year for me."

Nia adds, "I saw him a few weeks ago. We caught up over coffee, then caught a movie."

Brainy frowns, a hint of jealousy in his eyes. "It's been a few years for me probably around crisis."

Alex nods, reminiscing. "He was at my wedding last year remember. He was always the life of the party."

"Keep talking like that and your spouse may get jealous." Nia teased. Alex shot her a look while signalling at Brainy with her eyes.

Brainy, trying to hide his jealousy, speaks up. "Nia, you always talk so fondly about Lightning. It's clear he means a lot to you."

"He does, Brainy." Nia smiles warmly. "It doesn't mean that changes how I feel about you." Nia embraces Brainy.

"How about we watch a movie? Something light and fun?" Kara suggests trying to change the subject.
