Well, actually, it was technically night, so tonight was the night, more correctly.
I stood on a rooftop beside Leaf Headquarters, looking up at sky. I'd left Naruto passed out, and was intending on getting close to the three figures that lived here.
I was quite surprised when I discovered them the same day I met Itachi and Kakashi. But the bigger question was why I could see them and no one else could. I climbed up the headquarters and onto the roof, looking around for that shine of metal or glaze of long hair, but I was stopped short by a voice.
"What do you think they want with her?"
"She's just a kid."
"Come now, she's much more than that."
I grinned at the familiar voices as I trotted over to the rooftop's edge.
