Merlin Academy (Hades x Maleficent Headcannons)

The Cafeteria

Uliana ran into Jefferson Hatter on her way to their hangout spot and dragged him with her. When they walked in, all eyes turned to the no longer drenched sea witch who had a death grip on the future Mad Hatter's wrist.

"Owowowow- OW! Uli, that hurt. A lot." Jefferson said as he was pulled inside before being released.

"Oh, deal with it, Jefferson." They both found their seats as Uli sighed. "You guys wanna head to the Black Lagoon tonight and figure out how to get revenge on Pinkie-Pie?"

They were silent.

"Let me rephrase. We're going to the Black Lagoon tonight to plan my revenge on Bridget." She stated flatly and Hook groaned.

Everyone ignored him.

"As much as I love a good revenge plan, Uli, I just want to hangout and not have to think about the goody-goodies." Maleficent explained with a certain disdain in her voice. Her boyfriend agreed and she lightly squeezed his hand in appreciation.

"Boohoo, fairy girl. You don't have a say on the issue." The girl mocked, making both teens on the couch scowl at her.

Jefferson butted in before a cat fight broke out. "Well, that sounds wondrous, Uli." Wonderland pun intended.

Everyone groaned at the pun and collectively decided to head to the cafeteria for lunch since free hour was over.

When they arrived, Hook and Morgie messed with a few students because they were bored, laughing at the frightened faces before they ran away.

Uliana rolled her eyes. "Knock it off, boys!" They reluctantly got back into line which was them cutting to the front of the lunch line, earning protests from kids behind them.

The complaints stopped when Maleficent looked over her shoulder and glared at whoever was talking with her glowing green eyes. She let out a small laugh at how easily the goodies cowered at their lowest effort actions.

"Hey! Why don't you wait in line like everyone else!" A familiar and annoying voice said behind their group, making the couple and Uliana roll their eyes while Morgie and Killian snickered in amusement, already holding their trays of food.

The dark skinned sea witch picked up her tray with two of her four tentacles before turning her attention to the blue and red headed 'transfer students'. "I don't have enough patience for that." She snapped her fingers at the two boys waiting for her and they started walking to their usual table in the back of the lunchroom.

Red noticed Bridget and Ella getting in line, giving them pleading looks, well, Bridget was. She and Chloe walked over to them.

"Please, just leave it be, Red. I know you want to keep them from doing things like this, but you'll only make things worse. Besides, I still want to try and be friends with Uliana and her crew." Bridget told Red while Ella gave her pink haired friend a sympathetic smile.

"But-..." Chloe put a hand on Red's shoulder, making her stop. "Fine."

"Thank you, Red! Now, let's get some lunch!"

The Princess of Wonderland couldn't help but eye the villain group throughout the lunch period. They, however, all ignored the brightly colored girls. Well, minus Uliana, who was glaring daggers at Bridget.

The school's Headmaster and Honors Alchemy teacher was surveying the cafeteria and walking around and chatting with students occasionally.

Maleficent was having a harder time with her lunch today than usual. Meaning she didn't look hungry to everyone else in the room that may be watching her when in all reality it wasn't that she wasn't hungry, it was her brain telling her very much untrue things about herself.

The only people that knew about her eating disorder was their friend group, specifically Hades, Killian, Morgie, Jefferson, and Uliana. Sure, they have their moments, but the two girls were actually pretty close. That's kinda how it was for everyone in the group. They all understood that joking and making fun of that particular thing would cross the line and result in someone getting sent to the Underworld much earlier than they planned. Furthermore, they are all very protective of Maleficent and, in general, each other's private insecurities and fears.

Just because they're evil and mischievous doesn't mean they're heartless. Speaking of heartless, a few of the less popular heroes in the school had found their way into the popular kids circle a week prior and made it an everyday habit to criticize the fairy and her godly boyfriend.

"Right on time," the light blue and white haired boy mumbled to himself when he heard the first of many catcalls.

"How're you doing, Hades?" A muscular and tall blonde guy slapped Hades shoulder. He was your stereotypical high school jock. "What're you and Mal up to this fine afternoon?" He mocked them, making the posse behind him snicker.

"Go away, Zeus." Hades may be the older brother, but Zeus had always been more liked by other kids. He adjusted his grip of the raven haired girl next to him and pulled her closer to him, which she didn't protest.

"Oh, come on, big brother! Don't be like that. I was just checking up on my family." The god of weather laughed and continued agitating his brother.

Some other guy decided to get closer to the table and express his unwanted opinion. "How did you spell him into dating you?" He said as he lowered his head so he was practically breathing down their necks. "You're a literal god! Not to mention how she's literally so disgusting, I mean, just look at the horns-" He cut himself off by gagging in a way that was obviously forced.

Maleficent felt tears welling up in her eyes, but she pushed down her sadness and turned it into hate and anger. Her eyes glowed their magical emerald green and Hades already had blue flames in his hair along with his uneven breathing.

"Oh, is Mr. Fireball gonna get mad?" The kid taunted the god of death with a higher pitched voice.

While all of this was going on, the rest of the school, minus Bridget, Chloe, Ella, and Red, was whispering comments and bets and watching with anticipation as to what would happen next. Also, Merlin had long since left the cafeteria because of some urgent meeting, meaning all other teachers weren't going to be intercepting any fight before one could start.

The four girls excluded from the sea of whispers were talking about what was happening. Ella and Bridget explained the situation to Red and Chloe. The two transfer students were ready to go and jump in between the two groups, but Bridget stopped them. "As much as I would really like to, we'll only get hurt in the process." She took a breath, "I got caught in crossfire last week when this first started." She rolled up her sleeve on her right arm, just above her elbow, revealing a slowly healing first degree burn.

"And that fireball was at least four or five inches away from you, too." Ella added to help provide more information to the new girls about how dangerous it actually would be to get involved.

They all looked back at the extremely agitated villain group. All of them were death starring everyone that was with Zeus and the number of villains at their table tripled within a few moments.

Luckily for everyone that wasn't behind Hades, the bell rang, indicating lunch was over and everyone was to prepare for their next class.

Immediately, Uliana ordered the lesser known villains of the group to get people of the way for them. She shoved a few kids, too, just to let out some frustration. After a couple threats, students quickly cleared a path for them. Hades and Maleficent were behind her, with the boys trailing behind them.

There were a few terrified faces that belonged to the innocent kids that had P.E. with Hades, Mal, and Uli in the upcoming class period.
