Merlin Academy (Hades x Maleficent Headcannons)

Perfect Revenge...

The entire day of Castlecoming was extremely chaotic, but not the panicked kind that Maleficent enjoys rather it was more of an anticipating chaos, like the students were on the edge of their seats during class and talking their mouths off whenever they had free time.

And the dark fae had a migraine from it all. While it was true the VK's were attending the dance, a good portion would be spent in the corner and she'd be able to sit with her boyfriend.

By third hour, Hades was completely fed up with everyone talking about Castlecoming and decided to up and leave his government class. The teacher wasn't paying attention anyway, so it didn't matter. He went out to the Enchanted Forest and found Maleficent sitting under a particularly large tree with a blanket and book.

This sort of encounter had happened enough times that they expected the other to either be out here when they came out or waited for them to inevitably join them. So, the blue haired god sat down next to the raven haired fae, putting an arm over her shoulders. (Ty again for the idea/history of this scene hunterartemis777)

He took a breath and just looked over his beautiful girlfriend and all of her features, all of which were highlights to him. Her unique black horns decorated with black rhinestones on the ends, long, straight black hair tied back in a high ponytail, her blue eyes covered with purple eyeshadow, and red lipstick accentuating her thin lips against her lightly paled skin. She wears a long-sleeve purple high-necked sweater, a dark purple drape hanging from one shoulder, a black corset turned skirt, a studded belt, black fishnet leggings with solid black stripes, and black combat boots with purple painted flames, like Mal's in Descendants 3. Her accessories are layers of metallic necklaces that change from purple to green, multiple rings around her neck and one purple fingerless glove, along with black crescent earrings in both of her ears.

Hades absentmindedly ran his hand through her silky ponytail as he scanned the woods in front of them and glanced at the book Maleficent was reading.

She finished her chapter and grabbed her bookmark from under her book, setting it in the book and closing it before placing it on the cold ground next to her. "You done with all of it already? Because I am too." She quietly said, resting her head on his shoulder, ignoring the small studs covering his jacket.

"You are correct, Mali," he chuckled lightly. "Migraine?" She nodded and he planted a kiss on top of her head.

They heard footsteps approaching and Hades quickly used his umbrakinesis—being able to shape, manipulate and create shadows and darkness—to hide the couple from the unknown persons coming toward them.

"You're sure you saw him come this way?" Chloe asked Red as the cleared a small bit of brush.

"Yes." They paused to look around for any signs of the God of Riches.

"Why's it so dark over here?" Red asked as she walked closer to the tree that the couple had been under.

"Who knows? It's literally called the Enchanted Forest. It's not that surprising for weird things to happen." The young Charming remarked, grabbing her friend's attention once again. "Come on, he's obviously not out here. Let's get back to the school before we get detention at a school we shouldn't even be attending." They went back the way they had originally entered the forest in, leaving a puzzled VK couple.

After staying hidden for a few more minutes, Hades figured they weren't coming back and uncovered the pair from the shadow blanket.

"What in the hell does she mean that they shouldn't be going to school here?!" Maleficent stood up, losing her blanket in the process.

"My guess is as good as yours, love." Hades replied in a much more calm manner, picking up the abandoned book and blanket before carefully wrapping the plush cloth around the dark fae like a shawl.

They shared a small kiss before making their way back into the school.

At lunch, the pair grabbed a few snacks and went up the group's hideout/hangout spot. After yesterday's incidents, neither were in the mood to be around all of the Castlecoming talk.

Maleficent was, again, struggling with her own thoughts about her figure. The god simply stood up, placed the snacks on the end table beside the sofa, and picked up his girlfriend bridal style.

"What are you doing?" She laughed as they spun in circles.

"Making my beautiful lady smile again." He smiled softly before setting her feet on the floor again and held her close to him, resting his forehead on hers.

The fairy wrapped her arms around the god's neck, giving him a mischievous grin before pulling him down to kiss her. He was satisfied that he cheered Mali up a bit from that smile and happily kissed her back. His hands snaked around her waist, finding a spot on her back, and brought her closer.

Maleficent walked them back over to the love seat, straddling Hades' lap while they made out, just enjoying the other's presence and reactions.

(FYI this is more than likely as far as I feel comfortable going when writing more mature/spicy scenes. I guess it leaves some to your imagination while also allowing some parts that you know are canon in this story? Let me know what you think about this chapter and if you have any ideas for future scenes with these two or other characters!
