I lost everything because of your love
Like a tempest, it swept me far above
Into the skies where dreams reside
Where passion burns, and hearts collide

I lost my sleep in restless nights
Chasing memories, turning out the lights
Your love, a fire that consumed my soul
Leaving ashes where once was a whole

I lost my voice in silent screams
Echoes of longing, ugly-shattered dreams
In every tear that silently fell
A tale of love I couldn't quell

I lost my way in your labyrinth heart
Where paths diverged, and shadows had dart
Lost in the maze of what could have been
Haunted by what I couldn't have done to win

Yet in the loss, a lesson found
In the shattered pieces, a new dumb-ground
For love's price is steep, yet bittersweet
In the wreckage, finding strange strength to meet

I lost everything, yet gained in pain
A deeper wisdom, a soul has been unchained
For love's journey, though it may deceive
Leads to truths we must particularly believe

So farewell to what I lost in your embrace
In the ruins, finding my own disgrace
For in the end, I lost this part
So long this life, when everything don't have a better start
