There’s a part of me, quiet, yet strong,
Tugging gently to say, “Let go, move on.”
But a deeper part, louder and true,
Whispers fiercely, “I still want you.”I stand in between—my heart in two,
One side restless, the other pulled to you.
To be free feels like healing’s breath,
Yet love holds tight, defying death.I tell myself, “This will fade in time,”
But memories linger, crossing the line.
They dance on the edge of each day’s light,
Where longing and freedom softly fight. For a piece of me aches to set us free,
To let the wind claim what we couldn’t be.
Yet another part clings, hopes anew—
To love you wholly, with nothing to lose.:)))
