Aarushi
"Uhh. How I hate Monday morning." I switched off my alarm and lazily got up from my comfy bed. I hate school but today is the day when I will be honoured with the title of school captain. Sarcastic enough?
But nah actually that's a good thing. Maybe now I will get to explore and have some fun.
I took out a black shirt and black bell bottoms, my school coat over it more like an uniform. Applied lipgloss, some perfume and I am done. Left my wavy hair open and made my way towards the dining table.
(I know there is a uniform in India but let's just go with the flow)"What's for today?" I excitedly asked.
"What does my princess want?" My mom sarcastically replied. See this is where I get all my attitude from. "Eat your food and run to your school. You are already late."
"Drop me then. It's big day for me right?" I showed her my baby eyes. She sighed and nodded.
I have a lot of drama inside me. You can't beat me.
I took a deep breath before walking inside my class ready to have all the judgy looks. Why? Because I was selected as the captain. But to my surprise there were no angry people if I ignore the few.
"Oh I am so happy its you, congratulations Aarushi." A random girl came and hugged me. What was her name? Shit. A gave her a warm smile. "Thank you." I replied.
"The most undeserving person." A girl commented. I was going to ignore but nah.
"Look who's saying." I turned around to that girl.
"Oh you speak?"
"Yes I do and I do not tolerate disrespect so shut your dirty mouth."
Before she could say anything the teacher entered. "Good morning class." She greeted. The teacher soon proceeded with her teaching and I started taking the notes.
"You are late again, Aadi." Ms.Willams our teacher shouted at the guy and I gave my attention back to my books.
"Don't you think he is hot?" My friend whispered in my ear.
"A guy needs to be well mannered and loyal. I can compromise if he is not hot." I replied thinking if the value of x is 5.
"Yeah whatever." She rolled her eyes. "He is sitting in front of us." She again whispered.
"And?"
"Oh nothing. You are too boring." She got up and changed her place. Okay that hurt.
But fuck off.
I noticed the guy... um his name was__Aadi I think. He is literally sleeping.
"Aadi." Ms. Williams shouted.
"Umm yes?"
"What is the value of x?"
"I don't have one so I have no idea but you can ask my friend Karan." He pointed to the guy beside him and the whole class burst out laughing.
"Out of my class. Now."
"Should have done that earlier." He casually replied and moved out. Damn the audacity!
The torturing classes finally ended and it was time for break. Purvi. My friend came running to me. "Congratulations." She hugged. "Thank you." I replied with the same enthusiasm.
"I have so much tea to tell you." She dragged me with her and I happily followed.
"Ouch." I dashed with someone hard.
"Watch where you walk."
"Me? Were your eyes on rest. Can't you look at person standing in front of you." I look up to find my classmate Aadi staring at me.
"Nah. You are short."
"You assh_" I stopped midway. Language yes I have to control my language.
"Why did you stop? Continue miss captain?" He raised his eyebrows.
"I will talk to you later." I said and I was about to leave but then he had to comment.
"Looks like someone is interested?"
"Interested in you? Joke of the day. Stop living in your dreams."
I gave him a stare and walked away. What does he think of himself. Spoiled brat. An asshole.

I wish I could just disappear. I am sitting here in the principal's office with some other students hearing about 'do this' 'do that' and blah blah.
"I hope you all have understood. You all can leave."
Finally, what a relief.
"Aarushi please wait back."
Aree yaar. Mai kyu?
Ms. Williams walked in with two people and now everyone in the room is staring at me? What the hell.
"Aarushi dear, we want you to tutor someone."
No I don't want to do it.
"Who?" My habit of not being able to say is gonna give me hell lot of trouble.
"My son, Aadi." A lady in her forties replied.
"That arrogant guy? No I can't do this. I am sorry." I replied and immediately regreted my words.
"Beta please, he is failing and he needs assistance. I am ready to pay any amount you say."
Toh kya ab 1 crore bolungi toh doge kya?
"It's not about money but..
"Please Aarushi." My teacher requested.
Eventually their eyes melted my heart and I said yes.
Just when I was about to leave. Aadi entered the office. "Aarushi is going to tutor you, Aadi."
"And why do you all think I will agree?"
"If you want to continue cricket, you will have to agree." His dad replied.
"But dad_
"Yes or no?"
"Fine." He said and dashed out the office slamming the door loudly.
Itni strict principal hone ke baad bhi daring hai iss bande mai.
I also left the office and started walking to my class but I was suddenly pulled my someone. "How dare you__"
"I don't have time for that."
"You__
"We will be telling my parents that you tutor me but you don't need to do that. They won't know."
"And why will I do that?"
"Because I said so or else."
"Or else what mister?" I confidently replied. I was scared as hell from inside but he doesn't need to know.
"You both won't do anything such." Ms. Williams appeared from behind. "I would make sure that she is tutoring you, daily"
Aadi gave her a frustrated look and left.
Everything wierd has to happen with me. Tutor Aadi? Damnit. It will be like hitting my head on rock. My poor life. Monday always has to suck. I sighed and left.
