Bakugo didn't get to fight that Poland flag haired ice cube until the final round. The match that will determine who the winner of the Sports Festival would be.Bakugo scowled up at the giant mega screen showing off that guy's student identification photo right next to his. He stared at that scarred half of his opponent's face on that stoic image of his classmate.
Hopefully that dumbass takes what he said during the break into their battle and doesn't chicken out.

"Are you connected to All Might?" The half and half boy asked, his mismatched eyes staring into him.
"What the hell?"
Bakugo has been pulled away from the last of his spicy curry that he had been devouring during the break by Icyhot. The bastard approached him and just told him to follow him outside. He had only followed because he thought this was going to be some sort of fight he could use as practice.
But they were standing across from each other by the doorway leading outside. Bakugo leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, narrowing his eyes in confusion at the unrelated question Icyhot chose to start with.
He blinked at the peppermint haired idiot then sneered. "You dragged me out of the only time we get to eat to ask a dumbass question?" Bakugo let out a small burst of sparks from his palms. "Why?"
Icyhot glared into him. "I need to know if you are connected to All Might. It is important for me to know so I can reassess you accurately."
Bakugo racked his brain for what brought this on. If anything, he was anything but friendly whenever All Might came to teach the hero class. He more or less ignored the hero instead of bouncing on the balls of his feet like other extras in his class. Was that what tipped him off? Or... "Is this what started the whole thing in the waiting room? The whole 'you are the strongest one, but my half and half ass is going to beat you' shit?"
"I didn't say that exactly." Yeah, no duh. Just answer the damn question. "What I am trying to say that your power is the closest in terms of power to All Might—"
No. Nope. Bakugo pushed himself off the wall and stormed up to the bastard. He twisted his hand in the other's collar and pulled him forward. "Do not compare me to him again."
Icyhot looked momentarily surprised before his expression cooled over as he stared directly into him. Bakugo sneered then pushed him back into the wall harshly. "I don't give a damn that you want to challenge me or some bullshit. But don't compare or challenge me simply because you think I'm connected to All Might in some way. I'm not connected to him nor will I ever be."
Peppermint frowned. "Why?"
"None of your damn business, bastard." Bakugo waved him off with a casual gesture of his hand, small sparks going off due to his irritation. "Why did you drag me out here in the first place?" Bakugo held up a finger when the other opened his mouth. "And give me a better reason than needing to 'beat someone like All Might'."
"I need to beat someone like All Might because of my father."
Motherfu— what did he just say?! Bakugo rolled his eyes before the other started to spout off about how much he hated his father. And how much his father did not appear to be as heroic as he is seen on tv—.
Oh goddammit. This feels like he is walking straight into someone's tragic and dramatic backstory. And apparently the dumbass was listening to his thoughts because right when he thought about it, Icyhot began to spill about his childhood.
Bakugo felt his jaw drop at some of the things the other was mentioning offhandedly from training since he was four and his mother fully burning his face and being sent off to a mental hospital—
