After a long night defending their turf, Changbin and Chan decided to unwind at their favorite bar. It was a cozy spot with dim lighting and a relaxed vibe, a stark contrast to the tension of their earlier battle.

Changbin led the way, nodding to the bartender who already knew their usual order—a strong whiskey for Changbin and a classic cocktail for Chan. They settled into a corner booth, ready to decompress.

Changbin raised his glass in a toast. “To us, Chan. We kicked ass tonight.”

Chan grinned, clinking his glass against Changbin’s. “Damn right we did. And here’s to you, Changbin, for always having my back.”

As they sipped their drinks, the atmosphere lightened. Changbin glanced at Chan, a playful glint in his eye.

“You know, Chan,” Changbin started with a grin, “I think you’ve got a dangerous charm about you. No wonder the enemies fear you.”

Chan chuckled, leaning closer. “Oh, Changbin, you flatter me. But I’ve got nothing on your smooth moves and killer instincts.”

Changbin laughed, enjoying the easy banter. “Well, I’ve learned from the best—watching you in action is a sight to behold.”

Chan’s smile widened, his gaze lingering on Changbin. “You know, Changbin, there’s something about you… You make even a dangerous night like tonight seem like a walk in the park.”

Changbin felt a warmth spread through him at Chan’s words. “Hey now, don’t go making me blush. But seriously, Chan, I’m glad we’re on the same team.”

Chan’s expression softened, his tone turning sincere. “Me too, Changbin. You’re not just a partner in crime. You’re a friend I trust with my life.”

Their conversation continued late into the night, filled with laughter, shared memories, and a growing sense of camaraderie. Changbin couldn’t help but admire Chan’s charisma and charm, finding himself drawn to his friend in ways beyond their professional partnership.

As they finally left the bar, Changbin draped an arm over Chan’s shoulder. “Thanks for tonight, Chan. You made a tough night a whole lot better.”

Chan grinned, leaning into the gesture. “Anytime, Changbin. And hey, next time, let’s skip the battle and just come straight here for the drinks and cheesy compliments.”

With a chuckle and a nod, they headed their separate ways, their bond stronger than ever after a night of drinks, banter, and newfound closeness.
