Jisung's eyes fluttered open, and he found himself in a sterile, unfamiliar room. Blinking against the harsh lights, he felt a wave of confusion and fear wash over him. He turned his head slightly and saw his parents sitting beside him, their faces etched with worry and relief.

"Mom? Dad?" Jisung's voice was barely a whisper, raspy from disuse.

His mother grasped his hand, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Oh, Jisung, you're awake. Thank God."

His father leaned in, his voice thick with emotion. "We've been so worried about you, son. How do you feel?"

Jisung tried to sit up, but his body felt weak and uncooperative. "Tired. What... what happened?"

His mother squeezed his hand gently. "You were in an accident, Jisung. But you're safe now, and we're here with you."

Jisung nodded slowly, trying to make sense of the fragmented memories in his mind. As he looked around the room, he noticed two other people standing a little distance away, their faces familiar but their names just out of reach.

"Who are they?" Jisung asked, turning back to his parents.

His father looked over at Felix and Soobin, who had been watching quietly. "They're friends, Jisung. They were very worried about you too."

Felix offered a small smile, his eyes red from crying. "Hey, Jisung. It's good to see you awake."

Soobin nodded in agreement, trying to keep his expression calm. "Yeah, we've been waiting for you to get better."

Jisung gave a weak smile in return, though his mind still felt foggy. He clung to his parents' presence, finding comfort in their familiar faces and voices.

Months passed, and Jisung slowly regained his strength. The doctors had advised his parents and friends to avoid discussing any traumatic events that might further upset him, emphasizing the importance of a calm and supportive environment.

Jisung was now at his parents' home, the cozy familiarity of his childhood surroundings helping him feel more at ease. His recovery had been steady, though his memories remained elusive. He had come to rely on the warmth and love of his parents, their constant presence a source of comfort and stability.

Felix and Soobin visited often, gradually integrating themselves into Jisung's new routine. They never pushed him to remember, instead focusing on building new memories and strengthening their bond with him.

One afternoon, Jisung sat in the garden with Felix and Soobin. The summer sun cast a warm glow over them as they chatted about everyday things-music, movies, and plans for the future. Jisung laughed at a joke Felix made, the sound light and genuine.

"I'm glad you guys are here," Jisung said, his smile soft. "I may not remember everything, but I feel like I know you."

Felix's heart swelled with a mix of relief and sadness. "We're glad to be here too, Jisung. You're important to us."

Soobin nodded, his eyes reflecting the same emotions. "Yeah, we're just happy to see you getting better."

Jisung leaned back in his chair, feeling a sense of peace he hadn't known in a long time. Though the past remained a blank slate, the present was filled with warmth and friendship. He glanced over at his parents, who were watching from the kitchen window, their faces glowing with pride and love.

For the first time in months, Jisung felt a glimmer of hope for the future. Surrounded by the people who cared for him, he believed that, in time, he could rebuild his life, one memory at a time. And though he didn't realize it, the friends who stood by him were determined to help him every step of the way, ensuring he was never alone on this journey.
