author's pov..

Minho sat at the head of the long, polished table, the room filled with his closest  confidants. the atmosphere tense with anticipation. Felix, seated beside Minho, flipped through some documents, occasionally whispering updates into Minho’s ear. Minho nodded, acknowledging Felix’s diligence with a brief smile before turning his attention to the others.

"Alright, let's get started," Minho began, his voice commanding attention. "We need to discuss our next moves and make sure we're prepared for any surprises."

Chan leaned forward, his eyes sharp. "We've been getting intel about some unusual activities in the southern territories. Nothing major yet, but it's worth keeping an eye on."

Minho nodded. "Good, stay on top of it. Any other updates?"

Changbin spoke next, his tone serious. "We've noticed Yeonjun's crew making some subtle moves. Nothing direct, but it feels like they're probing for weaknesses."

Seungmin interjected, "We should consider tightening our defenses, just in case. Better safe than sorry."

Minho's gaze shifted to Hyunjin, who had been uncharacteristically silent. "Hyunjin, any thoughts?"

Hyunjin shook his head, his expression thoughtful. "Just a gut feeling, but I think Yeonjun's planning something bigger. He's too quiet."

Jeongin, the youngest, chimed in. "I've heard rumors about a potential meeting Yeonjun's arranging. It might be important."

Minho's eyes narrowed slightly. "With whom?"

Jeongin hesitated. "I couldn't get a name, but it's someone from your past. Someone who might cause trouble."

Minho's expression hardened, a cold determination settling over his features. "Find out who it is. We can't afford any loose ends."

The meeting wrapped up with a few more updates and plans, each member of the team understanding the gravity of the situation. As they filed out, Minho lingered for a moment, deep in thought. Felix gave him a reassuring pat on the back before leaving the room, closing the door quietly behind him.

Minho drove home, the streets quiet in the late evening. His mind was racing, contemplating the possible threats and how to counter them. By the time he arrived home, the stress of the day had worn him down, but he pushed it aside as he entered the house.

Inside, the living room was dimly lit, and Minho's gaze immediately fell on Jisung, who was fast asleep on the couch. Minho couldn't help but smile at the sight, the tension easing from his shoulders. He approached quietly, careful not to wake Jisung.

Gently, Minho scooped Jisung into his arms, feeling the familiar warmth and weight of his partner. Jisung stirred slightly but didn't wake, his breathing deep and even. Minho carried him to their bedroom, laying him down softly on the bed and tucking him in.

He leaned down, pressing a tender kiss to Jisung's forehead. "This dating thing after marriage is so fun," he whispered, a smile playing on his lips. "It's like living my teenage life with you again. I'm so happy that you are here."

Jisung murmured something in his sleep, a contented smile spreading across his face. Minho watched him for a moment longer, feeling a profound sense of peace and gratitude. No matter what challenges lay ahead, he knew he could face them as long as he had Jisung by his side.
