Author's pov..

Jisung practically skipped as he made his way to the park, the late afternoon sun casting a warm, golden glow over everything. He couldn't help but smile at the thought of seeing the man he had a crush on again. There was something about him that made Jisung's heart flutter in a way he couldn't quite explain.

The park was peaceful, with a gentle breeze rustling the leaves of the trees. Jisung's eyes scanned the area, looking for that familiar figure. He spotted the man sitting on a bench, staring up at the sky. Jisung's steps slowed as he noticed the sadness etched on his face. He was used to seeing that confident, playful smile, but today, he looked different-vulnerable and deeply sorrowful.

The man's eyes glistened with unshed tears as he gazed at the sky, his lips moving in a silent prayer. "Please, God, let Jisung come back to me," he whispered, his voice breaking. He wiped a stray tear with the back of his hand, taking a shaky breath. "I miss him so much. I can't do this without him."

Jisung's heart ached at the sight, even though he couldn't hear the man's whispered pleas. He didn't understand why seeing him in this state hurt so much, but it did. He wanted to run to him, to comfort him, to take away all his pain. Without a second thought, Jisung hurried towards him, his heart pounding in his chest.

The man's shoulders were trembling, his head bowed. He didn't notice Jisung approaching until he felt a gentle touch on his shoulder. He looked up, startled, and his breath caught in his throat. Jisung was standing in front of him, his eyes filled with concern and something else-something that looked a lot like love.

"Are you okay?" Jisung asked softly, his voice gentle and filled with empathy. He couldn't find the right words, so he did the only thing that felt right. He wrapped his arms around the man, pulling him into a tight embrace.

The man froze for a moment, his mind racing. This had to be a dream. But Jisung's warmth, his familiar scent-it was all too real. Slowly, the man's arms came up to return the hug, clutching Jisung as if he might disappear any second.

"Thank you," the man choked out, his voice muffled against Jisung's shoulder. "You don't know how much this means to me."

Jisung nodded, tears pricking his own eyes now. "It's okay. I'm here."

They stayed like that for what felt like an eternity, holding each other close, the world around them fading away. For Jisung, the memories of their past might still be hidden, but the connection he felt with this man was as strong as ever. And for the man, this moment was a precious gift, a glimmer of hope in the midst of his despair.

As they stood together, wrapped in each other's arms, the sun continued to set, casting long shadows over the park. And in that moment, despite the pain and the uncertainty, they both felt a flicker of something they hadn't felt in a long time-hope.
