Chapter 2: Light vs. Darkness

"And now we present to you, Ragnarok II, the battle for the second survival of humanity! We have a helluva matchup in round one!"

Heimdall declares that Ragnarok II is beginning and starts before turning his left arm to point at the Norse God.

"Representing the gods is the most beloved god in Valhalla, the God of Light, Baldr!"

As Heimdall announced Baldr as the first champion of the God. A voice coming from the audience seating starts to yell out Baldr's name.

"Baldr! Show him why you are the God of Light! Win this fight in the most flashy way possible!"

"Jeez, calm down, he already knows what we are thinking right now, he won't let us down!"

The Norse Twin God of Vengeance and the Norse God of Peace, Váli, and Forseti, cheer for Baldr, encouraging him to bring victory for the gods. Baldr waved back at the two gods, telling them he got this in the bag.

"And representing humanity is the leader of the Order of Assassins, the Old Man of the Mountain! Hassan-i Sabbah!!"

As the audience cheers for their representatives, a group of cloaked figures are in front of the seating, observing the Old Man of the Mountain.

"It's a huge honor for the Order of Assassins to have our founder to be a representative of humanity."

"It's a bit puzzling for our founding master to use such a large sword to fight, and as an assassin, he should've used a smaller and lighter weapon."

"However, you shouldn't judge our founding master's choices, so whatever he does, we have no authority to oppose it."

The members of the Order of Assassins gather together to watch their founding master fighting a mighty god for the sake of humanity. While, back with the two Valkyries, standing at a random place above the audience seating watching the fight.

"Aunt Göll, do you think that the old man can win? Baldr himself is pretty agile and carrying a steel bar to battle, he might not be able to even strike him!"

Aslaug asks Göll if the Old Man of the Mountain can stand a chance against Baldr due to the supposed disadvantage that Hassan carries.

"I am sure that the Old Man of the Mountain has a chance, there is a reason why I chose him for the first round, I have full trust in him and his capabilities to win. And I think those gods are looking down on him as well, he will show those shit-eating gods why he is called the 'Angel of Death'."

Aslaug is shocked by Göll's vulgar words, thinking of who or what teaches her how to talk like that.

"You need to watch your potty mouth, Auntie."

In front of them is a VIP seating for the Gods, inside of the room, 3 gods are shown to be watching round one.

"Hmh! That Valkyrie looks confident about that human, as if that is going to change anything, that human doesn't even have a divine weapon!"

"Don't underestimate them, brother. After all, these are the humans who beat us a millennium ago."

"It's more like you are just overestimating them, Hermes!"

"Now, now, you two. Just watch the fight, even though I admitted that humans are strong so don't look down on them. Plus, this battle is going to make my blood pump that I want to fight them!!"
