Chapter 14: King's Proof

The chains on the unfortunate king are now shattered.

The armors of the Egyptian Pantheon are jewels in the eyes of the gods, only for the leaders of the pantheon. Only those who possess the jewels are fit to be kings. That is why they are called the "King's Proof".

"Let us fight together...Osiris!" Set exclaimed, clanging his khopeshes together before inserting them into the Shield of Sand in the form of Osiris' wrists. "Sand Combination!"

Suddenly, the protection of sand began to shake violently, causing the sand floor from the arena to rumble on the fighters' feet. The shield in the form of Osiris consumed Set and grew the lower half of its body.

"Uwahh! What is that!? Set got absorbed by his shield, what is he planning?!" Heimdall cried out, trying to get his legs out of the sand.

The sand shield formed into a giant humanoid figure. The sand slowly tore out of the shield before revealing some metal where the sand was originally placed. As all of the sand was removed from the shield, all it left was a massive mechanical robot as tall as the arena itself, with red, sand green, and gold accent colors.

"What...What is that!? A gigantic mecha suddenly appeared inside Set's shield!!" Heimdall dumbfoundedly shouted, his eyes popping out of his sockets from seeing Set's mecha.

"Set's true divine weapon, it was said to be the original primordial gods had wielded an invincible power that had the potential to destroy the entirety of the three worlds: heaven, earth, and hell. After the primordials died and sealed, their essences were split into portions and sealed into various Supreme Gods symbolizing their rule, known as...the King's Proof." Yu Huang explained smoothly as his eyes sailed towards Set's new weapon and rubbed his chin with his free hand. "And it seems like Set is worthy of being a Supreme God after all."

"The reason why Apep hadn't used this power before is because he cannot use my full power properly with an incompatible body like mine, his techniques are floppy. However, the original...is here!" Set said with a soft grin. "And its name is..."

"That's huge! It's a robot!?" Aslaug screamed, not out of surprise or worry, but out of amazement, due to her love for giant robots.

"This is bad...I did not expect to account for this...!" Göll mused as she gritted her teeth and bit her nails out of frustration.

"That looks...so cool! Get him, dad!!" Wepwawet excitedly screamed at the top of his lungs. Set slightly turned his head around to his son's seating spot, nodding for a second before turning back to Simón Bolívar.

"Well, isn't this interesting..." Simón nervously muttered, seeming a bit perplexed by the sight of the mecha staring at him menacingly. After a moment of processing the transformation, the God of Egypt suddenly vanished from the arena, then reappeared behind Simón for 0.5 seconds, leaving anyone that could react to it in shock. As Set reached his destination, he then crouched down before launching the mecha's fist at Simón's back, shattering the liberator's spine from the impact before sending him flying toward the arena's wall at rapid speed.

[Undying Sand - Dust Shift]

"This is a shocking development! Just a few minutes ago, Simón Bolívar was dominating Set! But now, Set suddenly unexpectedly caught him off-guard and put him on the wall from behind! Just what is this new form that Set has taken?!" Heimdall became flabbergasted to the point of almost dropping his Gjallarhorn into the quicksand while hanging on the audience seating.
