After mixed reactions from the gods that were and were not chosen for the second Ragnarok, Baldr, and Hassan stare at each other briefly until Hassan decides to break the ice first, sprinting at Baldr and attempting to slash his sword at the god. Baldr dodges the blade by a hair, causing the blade to hit the wall behind Baldr, destroying the wall but the blade is now stuck on the wall.

"I like you, Hassan! But, let's see if you can counteract this!"

Baldr jumps into the air and swings down a powerful kick, attempting to harm Hassan. Before Baldr's kick can reach Hassan, the assassin finally pulls his sword out of the wall, trying to evade the strike in time but Baldr is not aiming for Hassan, but aiming at the sword. The god kicks the sword flat down, causing the blade to plunge itself into the ground. Baldr then proceeds to straighten out his left leg on the blade, and raises his right knee, proceeding to knee the assassin's face, causing his face and mouth to bleed out and sending Hassan away flying backward while the human is holding on to his weapon. Baldr's smile widened as he firmly planted his feet on the ground.

"Yeah! Baldr, who just had the disadvantage a moment ago, now is taking the lead with his plays!"

Heimdall exclaims Baldr's exploit of Hassan's divine weapon with his quick thinking.

Hassan sighs at the god's attack before slowly approaching Baldr. Gripping his sword with one hand after recovering the knee strike from the light god and the slam against the wall.

"Tch, thou are proving yourself to be quite unforeseeable."

"Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to express that!"

"Even for a lunatic, I have no issues in respecting thou and thy might."

Even if they are currently enemies, they have nothing but respect for each other. They are holding both champions in high regard. At a certain floating island somewhere in Valhalla, the sun god, Apollo is currently watching the whole fight through a screen.

"Ah, Baldr, my friend from the other side of the pantheon, always the center of attention. A well-deserved treatment. You have worked so hard to be in this position right now. Truly beautiful."

The Radiant God of Light is beloved by every single god, even the likes of demons have great respect and cry for him. But was that truly the truth? Was Baldr always the most beloved of all the gods? No. Among all of the major gods, Baldr was neglected to the sideline. He was extremely hated. He was not loved by anyone when he was born, no one even cared about his existence.

[Asgard - Ancient Past.]

The offspring of the allfather, brother of the thunder berserker, the radiant god of light, Baldr. Raised in an environment full of bloodshed led by Odin, everyone including his family was a bloodthirsty and vigorous warrior. But Baldr is different, way different in fact. He is a kind and polite god, divergent from his pantheon, and his friendliness nature almost got him killed numerous times. Because of his personality, his pantheon hated him for being too soft in a pantheon full of savages, soon enough, the hatred spread through different pantheons as well, becoming universally hated by the heavens. He was unfortunately born in a cruel world and at the wrong time.

"Yawn...I am so bored, I wonder how Thor is doing in the war, don't think he would care about my worries though, that's a shame...Anyway!"

Baldr gets up from a grassy field alone, it was a beautiful day for Baldr. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming, and the sky is blue with the wind breezing, gently blowing his long and luscious white hair as Baldr giggles cheerfully.
