The day was Christmas Eve and all through the land, chaos was brewing. And the time of giving was at hand. What was it that started this ruckus, you say?
The large, elderly man, clad in red and white attire with a red cap with a white tip, chuckled as he held a sword resembling a candy cane. "Ohohoho~ Of all the people who could have spoiled Christmas this year, I never imagined it would be you returning to ruin it for everyone."
A tall figure cloaked in a dark black mantle with red trim, his face hidden behind a skull-shaped helmet, twirled a black whip with a spear tip at its end above his head. "Did you think you'd be dealing with Krampus or the Grinch this year, old man? I am the one who always gives you the most trouble when we cross paths after all."
"Can it, whippersnapper!" The elderly lunged forward before swinging his sword downward at the tall figure, but he swiftly parried the blow with the sharp blade of his whip.
[Valhalla - A few hours ago]
December 24th—Iriy is the Slavic realm of the heavens, the sacred domain of the Slavic gods, ruled by their supreme god, Perun. Today was Christmas Eve, and everything was buried in a thick layer of snow. The gods of the pantheon went out to enjoy the festivities. Meanwhile, Perun, standing atop the tallest tree in the pantheon, was balancing training and observing his people from the top.
While standing on one leg in deep meditation, an eagle flew toward Perun and perched atop his head. Preoccupied with his training, he ignored the eagle at first, but when the eagle whispered in his right ear, he slowly opened his eyes. "I see, he wants my help after all these years. I never expected this day to come. Thank you, eagle. Inform the others and gather them in the Conference Room." Perun muttered as the eagle took flight at his command before he leaped down from the tree.
In the Conference Room, only a few individuals gathered together before Perun walked into the room, carrying a large bag on his back. "Greetings, gods and...humans? I don't remember inviting them. And where are the rest of the gods? I thought the eagle told them to get here."
"Oh, excuse me for being a 'filthy' human," Nobunaga muttered before Athena cleared her throat.
"If I may, Lord Perun, it was Lord Yu Huang's suggestion to invite the humans, as many gods are occupied with other matters. As a result, Lord Yu Huang had no choice but to seek help from the humans. However, Lord Yu Huang was also occupied with his business and only three humans arrived. One more was supposed to be here but they don't know the location." Athena said as she pointed toward the three humans in the room, Hassan-i Sabbah, Simón Bolívar, and Oda Nobunaga.
"I'm just surprised that Lord Huitzilopochtli actually showed up, I thought he was too grouchy for Christmas!" Baldr chuckled, annoying Huitzilopochtli.
"Watch your mouth, kid! I'm only here because Yu Huang forced me to come. He was all like, 'Come on, Lord Huitzilopochtli! It's Christmas, you should be in a good mood!' or something along those lines." Huitzilopochtli grumbled while Baldr and Simón couldn't help but giggle quietly.
"Cease your squabbling. We don't have all day to waste on meaningless chatter. It's Christmas, so we should put our differences aside and help each other today. We're all here today because I have something important to share." Perun said, placing a large bag on the table.
"What's this, sir?" Simón asked curiously.
"I've picked up a bag of Christmas outfits for this meeting. I bought it so you all can wear it today. Don't you dare decline it. I spent money on this." Perun said as he started handing out clothes.
