The VEE Tower...

Vox was sleeping soundlessly in his bed, taking advantage of the opportunity to sleep in this Saturday morning.

He rarely got an escape from work, so he always enjoyed these weekends. Yet despite being able to escape his work issues, he can't really escape-

"VOX!" Valentino scolded, pushing the TV demon out of bed and waking him up.

Vox groaned and rubbed his head, standing up from the cold floor. "You...fucking...son of a bitch..." he cursed through gritted teeth.

"Morning, baby-cakes!" Velvette said from behind from Val.

Vox rolled his eyes and pulled himself onto his bed. "You have five seconds to leave until I bash your heads in..." he threatened in a lower tone.

Velvette laughed heartily and patted the top of Vox's TV monitor, as if he were some amusing child before her.

"Anyways," Valentino started. "We have a few things we'd like to go over."

Velvette pulled out her phone and started scrolling through her Pinterest feed. "Yeah, I've gathered some good ideas so far," she informed Vox.

"Ooh, I'd love to hear some," Val said vividly to Velvette. "Couldn't come up with anything last night."

Vox shook his head and ran his hand down his screen. "What are you talking about?"

Velvette rolled her eyes. "Date ideas, dumbass!" she said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

Vox shot his friends a look of disbelief. "Date ideas?" he echoed.

Letting out a low grumble of annoyance, Velvette started to read off her list. "Yes! So far I have a dinner date, movie theater, local coffee shops, aquarium, planetarium..." she listed each location, her irritation growing with each baffled look Vox left her.

"For (Y/N)?" he finally asked.

"Ugh!" Valentino threw his hands up in the air. "Who the hell else would we be talking about?!"

Vox felt a pang of irritation and slight embarrassment course over him. "You're going waaay too fast."

Valentino simply rolled his eyes and yanked Vox off his bed. "We're helping you out here! You're still sticking to that promise, aren't you?"

Vox let out an annoyed groan. He'd been subconsciously hoping that they'd forget...but it was made clear they weren't going to let this go so easily. And if he were to back out...well, he'd never hear the end of it.

"Yeah, I am," he finally said.

"Be glad we're at least making an effort to help you!" Velvette chimed in.

As much as Vox didn't want to tell himself, he silently knew they were right. Without their assistance he'd easily make a fool of himself in front of (Y/N).

"Fine, whatever." Vox rolled his eyes and smoothened out his nightwear. "Vel—read those options to me again."

Velvette smirked, happy Vox had finally given in. "With pleasure."

"And Val—help me pick something out to wear."

"Already on it, perra~" the moth demon said, tugging Vox over to his closet.

"Ooh (Y/N) won't know what hit her!" Velvette squealed.
