A/N: Yep! Another song will be used today, I'll let you know when to play it. There's an instrumental part at the end that I will cut out. Enjoy the chapter!

The Café

You sigh in contentment as you finish up your order of coffee. Vox chuckles.

"Finished already?" he asks, already half-way done with his.

"You're not?" you reply with a smirk.

He chuckles and sighs. "I had fun today."

"I did too," you smile.

Vox instinctively reaches out for your hand, brushing over your knuckles with his thumb. "We should do this again soon."

You raise your eyebrow in suspicion. "Still platonic?"

He laughs. "Of course!" his eyes glint with a hint of mischief. "Well, that is unless...you want it to be something more?" he says seductively, shooting you a cheesy wink.

You roll your eyes. "Ha-ha. I'll stick with the friendly hangouts."

Vox shakes his head and stands up from the table, hooking his arm around yours as the two of you start to walk out. "You're missing out, princess," he teases. "We'd be good together. Two beautiful Overlords such as ourselves? We'd be Hell's greatest power couple."

You feel the evening wind wisp through your (H/C) hair, closing your eyes as you feel it blow against your face.

"It's lovely tonight," you gush, looking up at the night sky. You notice how the moon seems to perfectly frame the entirety of the picture, masking it in it's soft silver light. It was more than lovely—it was enchanting, as if were a Hollywood scene straight out of the movies.

"Ah, see? Even mother nature got the memo!" he jokes.

"So romantic..." you sigh dreamily. "What a waste," you sit down on a bench, admiring the full moon. Vox sits next to you, raising a brow.

"Not much to look at, huh?" Vox says, resting his hand on his cheek.

"I've seen better," you reply.

"The sun is nearly gone..." Vox sings, looking up at the sky with you. "The lights are, turning on." He nudges you with his elbow. "A silver shine that stretches to the sea..."

He stands up and starts pacing around the bench. "We stumble on a view that's tailor made for two..." he rests his hands on your shoulders from behind. "What a shame, those two are you and me."

Vox stands up and starts spinning on his heel. "Some other girl and guy would love this swirling sky, but there's only you and I..." he pokes you in the chest. "And we've got no shot!" he waves his hand dramatically in your face. "This could never be! You're not the type for me."

You fold your arms. "Really?"

"And there's not a spark in sight. What a waste of a lovely night!" he plops himself back next to you.

"You say there's nothing here," you sing. "Well let's make something clear; I think I'll be the one to make that call!"

"But you'll call?" he asks.

"And though you look so cute in your polyester suit," you fiddle with his bowtie.

"It's wool," he rolls his eyes.
