After we got all of our introductions out of the way, as well as an explanation on what exactly is happening to them, lightning struck the chariot, setting on fire, I realize I spoke too soon about being a great chariot flyer. Should've never let my guard down, I am flying after all.

Jason shouted, "The left wheel's on fire!"

"NOT THE LEFT WHEEL!" I shouted back. I don't know why, sometimes I just say things in a moment of panic.

"What's that?" Piper asked, looking into the distance. I looked over to where she was pointing.

"Storm spirits!" I yelled. At least I wasn't being smited.

I had to figure out what to do ASAP. We were literally on fire. On the horizon, I saw camp. The beautiful buildings and landscape stretched out in front of us. Thank the Gods.

I looked down at camp, quickly studying the landscape until my eyes found the lake. I look back at the new people in my chariot as I gave them a smirk.

"You guys want to see a magic trick?" I asked. The three teens looked at me confused. Then, I gave the Pegasi reins to Annabeth and looked to the lake. I stuck my hand out and called the water towards us. The water caught us midair, lightening our fall. Then, we all hit the cold water and fell underneath. I saw the lake nereids start to help the others up, but I made it to the surface much faster than the rest. I walked out of the lake, completely dry. I watched as the new kids struggled. I walked over to Leo and put out my hand to help him up.

"Hey, Elf Dude, need help?" I asked as I held out my hand. Leo just looked up at me for a beat before he grabbed my hand and I pulled him up. Unlike Jason, he was shorter than me by a bit. His hair was normally wild and curly, but now it was all wet from the lake. Leo looked up to me before taking my hand and kissing it.

"Hello there." he said with a smirk.

"Hello." I said flatly. His smile faltered. "Let me go help your friends."

I walked over to Piper emerging from the lake, I grabbed a towel from a nearby camper and gave it to her.

"Thank you, Charlotte" she told me as she cleaned herself a bit.

"No need to thank me, and you can call me Charlie."

"Ok, Charlie" Piper said as she smiled at me. Her smile was very pretty. Before I could say something else, we heard loud splashing. I looked over to see Jason, struggling to get out of the lake. "Excuse me", I told Piper as I walked over to Jason to help him up.

I walked over to Jason, his blonde hair stuck to his forehead and his t-shirt a much darker purple. I put my hand out towards him, and he quickly took it.

"Thanks" he said as I pulled him up. Our eyes were locked as he fully stood. He was taller than my brother was and had a small scar on his mouth. I wonder what it's from?

We looked at each other, studying each other until campers use the large bronze leaf blowers to dry us.

"I told you you could borrow the chariot not destroy it!" Will yelled as he stomped up to the body of water.

"Will," Annabeth spoke, "I'm sorry, I'll get it fixed I promise."

Will looked at the other three, "They look older than 13, they haven't been claimed?"

"No," Annabeth answered.

"Claimed?" Leo asked, but Will changed the topic to Percy. I looked to Leo.

"Claimed is when your godly parent decides to let you know who exactly left you when you were born." I explained. "I know this is all a lot daunting, but it'll get easier to understand."
