(Taehyung).

Now hear me out.
I love Jimin. I really do, we're best friends, he's sweet, kind, so funny and likeable, I can't live without the mochi doll that is he.

Now....he doesn't really have any issues.
It's more...the issues have him. In the sense that the issue is someone completely different whom he adores.

The issue being Prince Jungkook to be exact.

Don't get me wrong. Prince Jungkook is a good guy and Jimin trusts him and I know he'd do anything for Jimin too, but...
The problem is what he represents really.
In the sense that he's a very attractive man. And ever since I mentioned to Jimin that I found him attractive, he has proceeded to find methods to subtly arrange circumstances for amorous exchanges between us two.

What I mean is he tries to set us up.

And I have repeatedly told him that I do not see his brother like that but he never listens. And now we're married for heaven's sake, he'll probably try locking the two of us up in a room or something stupid like that.
He is Park Jimin after all. He's very cunning about it too, I never know what to expect.

And Jungkook doesn't even know, that's the worst part. He's smart and quiet and calm but he'd never dream that his beloved hyung would try to hook him up with his best friend. And that leaves me with the preferable job of getting us out of the situations, without giving him any of the wrong ideas.
Or the right ones.

But that was before. Now, the two of them are literally in my room.

Jimin's by my vanity mirror looking for things to style my hair with, and Jungkook is admiring the books on my shelf.

"Are all these yours Tae hyung?" He asked, carrying one.
"Jungkook, I've told you a million times, you can call Tae without the honorifics. He's told you too", Jimin called absentmindedly from where he was.

"I forget, okay?" Jungkook huffed.
I chuckled and stood next to him, identifying which book he was admiring.
It was a historical fiction written by a philosopher who had a vivid imagination and had seen much in his time.
"Good choice. This book is one of my personal favorites. All the books here are mine, yes, but more are being sent from home. I have a lot I'm yet to read".

"Lucky. Most of the books I didn't read back in Busan belonged to Rose Noona, so I could hardly ask for them to be sent", he explained, pouting a bit.
"Well, you can come here anytime you like and read any of my books. Although I'm sure the palace has a library, something tells me you're yet to find it for some reason".

Jungkook flushed, confirming my statement.
He was much too shy to ask Jin or Namjoon and too independent to request for helpful from a servant.
Making a mental note to ask Jin for directions to the library so I could help him, I let him pick three books to read later.

"Thanks Tae. I appreciate it".
"No need to be so formal Kook. We're friends".

Jimin shot to his feet, his arms full of hair brushes, pins, creams, styling equipment and some items I didn't even know I possessed.

"Now get comfortable in the bed. I'm going to style you and Jungkook's hair. You both look like animals, and I shall have time to cultivate my skills", he directed.

Jimin was extremely interested in court fashions and had been quite the trend setter back in Busan.
He preferred to pick and dress by himself, trusting his own judgement better than any courtiers.
That aside, he enjoyed dressing others up. Roseanne would pick Jimin's judgement for ball gowns any day over that of any spoilt acquaintance or dressmaker.
He was also talented in hair styling and adornment.
Jungkook and I were used to his brief moments of creative adrenaline.

Without complaint we settled on the bed while Jimin stood next to me, his soft hands running through my hair.
Sometimes he tugged or pulled but it wasn't painful and I wasn't worried.
I trusted him.

"Jungkook read a new book some weeks back and he rather liked it. What was it called? The Ground Raspberry? No...um..oh yes! The Bound Rose. Have you read it?"

I choked on air and turned sharply. He couldn't be serious.
But he had a completely normal face while Jungkook was glaring at him, cheeks flushed.

"What?" He asked innocently.
"Jimin!" Jungkook and I hissed in unison.

The Bound Rose was a very controversial book. It had an interesting plot, sure, but nearly all its chapters somehow had sexual scenes, and very intense, explicit scenes.

(For my twenty first century ppl, I mean BDSM and kinks. If you know, you know).

Wait! Judging from Jungkook's reaction- HAD HE ACTUALLY READ IT?!!

"Seriously Jungkook?" I asked, amazed.
He rolled his eyes but had the decency to blush.
"You've obviously read it too if you know about it. Don't judge!!"

"Don't judge Taehyung. It can't be that bad if Jungkook bought the other two volumes".

My jaw was officially on the ground.
Jungkook flung a brush at Jimin who dodged effortlessly.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.
We paused as I said come in.

It was Tomas, a servant I recognized.
He handed me an envelope.

"For the three of you, from His Royal Highness Seokjin", he explained, before bowing thrice and departing.
Curiosity gnawing at us, I shrugged and opened it.

After Jin left, Hoseok and Yoongi finished the pears in silence.
Finally, Yoongi spoke.
"You have questions, I guess".
"I do. You've known this Lady for an hour. Why are you ready to bring her down? Is it because Jin asked?"

Yoongi opened his mouth to answer but there came a knock on the door.
"Come in", Yoongi called.

It was a servant.

"Your Highness, Yoongi, the Crown Prince would see you in his office, now".
